Dorm Essentials

Keeping your dorm room fully stocked with all the essentials can keep you organized, comfortable and relaxed so that you can study hard. From food storage to toiletries, bed sets to school supplies, Sam’s Club® has plenty of dorm items you need.

What School Supplies Should You Keep In Your Dorm?

The last thing you need during a late-night study session or last-minute cram is to run out of the necessary school and office supplies. One way to ensure you’re always stocked up is to stay organized. When all of your desk supplies and books are in their proper place, you’ll easily see when it’s time to stock up. Plus, each item will be close and ready to grab when you need it. Sam’s Club has plenty of back-to-school essentials, such as pens, pencils, paper and more, as well as the right organizers for these supplies to keep them handy and tidy on your desk.

A small bookshelf or corner desk is also great for smaller spaces and allows you to work on homework, type away on a laptop or study for that big test. When it’s time to head to class, keep all your necessary notebooks, textbooks and other supplies with you by selecting a durable, stylish backpack. With so many options from which to choose, you’re sure to find one that fits your style.

Stay Hydrated & Fed

Keep your body and immune system in top shape by ensuring you’re getting the nutrition you need throughout the school year. Keeping a small appliance , such as a mini fridge, in your dormitory means you can have cold water, soda or juice close at hand. Whether you’re taking in caffeine or hydrating with healthy juice, a mini fridge can keep them cool for extra refreshment. Mini fridges are also great for keeping perishable food and snacks, such as cheese sticks, veggies, sandwiches and milk.

Sam’s Club has multiple options for small blenders, which can be another handy appliance to keep in your room. They are ideal for making healthy smoothies or protein shakes, which can help to keep you nourished and ready to tackle any homework assignment.

Cozy Comforts

While a dorm room may not be your idea of home, that’s no reason to avoid the cozy comforts of your bedroom. Make your dorm room a sanctuary with the right bedding and furniture accents. You can keep it simple by adding a mattress topper to your dorm bed for added softness or go all out with a complete bedding set. Sam’s Club has numerous styles and colors from which to choose. Keep a couple of blankets or throws around for those colder winter months. Extra accent pillows can not only add some pops of color to your room but also provide an additional cushion when lounging around.
