What amount of flavored syrup do I use?

Coffee shop baristas typically use:

• 3 pumps of syrup in a tall latte (which is 12 oz.)
• 4 pumps of syrup in a grande (16 oz.)
• 5 pumps of syrup in a venti (24 oz.).

You can add more or less depending on how much sweetener you prefer in your drinks.

How do I combine flavoring syrups?

Divide the total number of pumps needed between the two flavoring syrups you want to use. So for a 16-oz. tuxedo (a.k.a. zebra) mocha latte, use two pumps of dark chocolate and two pumps of white chocolate syrup.

For combining two flavored syrups in a 12-oz. drink, which calls for 3 pumps of syrup, you could choose to put more of the preferred flavoring. This works well for caramel macchiatos, which are essentially vanilla-tinged lattes topped with caramel flavoring. Simply add one pump of vanilla syrup and two pumps of caramel syrup.

How do I measure out a "pump" of product?
