We purchased this playset for my grandkids for Christmas. My husband followed the explicit instructions to put it together just in time for Christmas. It has brought many fun outside hours of play already.

Awesome playset for my grandkids!

The shipping was fast and the playground is overall great! Our boys are so excited. I love all the features of this playground. The construction did take longer than anticipated, some screws were missing, and some pieces didn't quite fit so we had to adjust some wood pieces. But the set seems sturdy and includes variety of playing areas. Great purchase!

Great playground!

My kids are 5 and 2 and they love this playset. My son enjoys the monkey bars and the high lookout. They love that it has two slides (although I'll admit the green slide is too fast for my 2 year old). Overall, we were pleased with the product. It's worth noting that it took at trained carpenter with 30 years of experience 28 hours to put this together - and that was with support. We had a lot of challenges with the delivery and would not recommend the delivery company that Sam's Club used to deliver this piece. I'm also frustrated that the play set is currently $600 cheaper than when I purchased it less than a month ago.

My kids loves this playset

According to the instructions, this is a two man install job!  It took my husband and my son-inlaw (along with my daughter) to help assemble this playset.  It is well constructed and takes approximately 16 to 20 hrs. to assemble but well worth it.  My granddaughter is enjoying every bit of it.

Perfect playset for my grandaughter

Set is nice; no one in our area can build until new year. Sources given by company did not respond. Only one did and want $500 to build

This was quite the project to undertake. A week of work (with intermittent help from family), 7 boxes full of supplies with many different cuts of wood (some with clear labels and others illegible), and an excited toddler constantly wondering when her castle will be done. Luckily the instructions were very well written, making the identification of the wood more dependent on the obvious predrilled layout of the piece in question, and many extra screws, washers, and nuts included. 

We did have some issues, though, with the hex screw heads being fairly weak and easily stripped, plus the bit that was included for the square drive screws was a weak metal as well. Luckily I had a good bit set on hand that could easily handle a scrulox. lol 

Lastly, that yellow twisty slide was quite the job to do alone... my daughter had to be ushered inside while daddy had some strong words with some impossible holes to pass a PB1 screw through. After much frustration I realized that the instructions had a great suggestion to use the provided screw driver to align the holes before feeding a screw through. After that everything was put together and my daughter loves it. Haley's Castle Cafe is open for business!!!

We haven't finished assembling yet, but my husband has been able to construct everything my himself except for putting on the roof and the tube slide. But it's a commitment- he's probably spent almost 30 hours. All he has left to do is the tube slide. Buy a heavy duty drill to screw in the screws. That was a lifesaver. Also good to note that the monkey bar handles are wood we were disappointed by that. But the kids are loving it.

What we expected

My son loves the playset. But putting it together took so long and my husband and father in law are very handy. My biggest complaint is that many of the pieces were either not stamped at all with their numbers or we were not able to read it, so that was frustrating spending that much money and having to deal with that.

Good swing, not easily assembled

Found 9 boards that were damaged, so we have not been able to construct the play set yet. Replacement parts were ordered before Christmas and have just been shipped. I expected much better craftsmanship for the money spent.

Replacement Parts

First, it came very quickly! Second, I had to reorder parts that came with holes wrong or wrong angles were cut. Third, I had to reorder parts that I already reordered because even those came wrong! Customer service was friendly but didn't rush the parts (3-5 business days) and wasn't very easy to get a hold of. Some pieces didn't fit together as well as I would have liked and now 1 month old, the stain is already pealing!!! I love the features, which creates a lot of pieces.
