Breathe with confidence! The Electrolux PureOxygen Allergy™ 300 Allergen Air Purifier helps clean the air with four stages of filtration. Premium HEPA filtration absorbs 99.97% of dust mites, allergens, smoke, pet dander and other pollutants from the air down to 0.3 microns in size and the activated carbon filter helps reduce unwanted odors, VOC's and other dangerous gases in your home. There are also two additional filtration stages. Cleancel® treated activated carbon filter includes an antimicrobial coating, a chemical compound that impedes the growth of bacteria and molds, is added to the activated carbon filter and PlasmaWave® Technology breaks up potentially harmful molecules generating naturally occurring hydrogen and water vapor. Unlike most ion generators, PlasmaWave® Technology does not produce any harmful ozone, therefore carries the CARB* seal of approval. Change filter indicator automatically lets the user know when it is time to replace the filters making it easier on you. Auto Mode sets the fan speed to automatically be adjusted by the air quality sensor – the more particulates sensed, the higher the fan speed– the higher fan speed, the more clean air is circulated back into your living environment. When the unit is in auto mode, the on-board light detector senses when lights are low and automatically activates sleep mode, which sets the fan speed to quiet and automatically dims the LED control panel lights, allowing you to sleep soundly and undisturbed. To ensure your maximum comfort, this model is recommended for areas up to 300 sq. ft.- perfect for a medium sized bedroom or living area. The PureOxygen Allergy™ 300 Allergen Air Purifier is Energy Star Certified and endorsed by the world renowned Swedish Asthma and Allergy Association, which is deeply involved in the research of preventive methods for allergies and asthma.
