    Maximum coverage and flexibility
The professional quality 3505 motorized dome camera included with this system will pan, tilt and zoom at your command. This higher resolution (470 line) color camera incorporates a crystal clear 22x optical zoom lens. Remotely change the position of the camera and its wide angle view to a close up shot with the PTZ controls on the DVR, via the Internet with your computer, or with your smartphone and free, compatible app. Perfect for scanning parking lots, commercial buildings, public areas or even your own yard, the auto focus lens automatically adjusts to the primary object being viewed after the camera is moved. The manual focus feature can also be used. The Day/Night function changes the view in low light conditions from color to B/W for improved clarity (dome does not contain IR LEDS, some exterior lighting is needed). Hot or cold outdoor environments are not a problem with the built-in heater and blower with automatic temperature control. 100 feet of CAT5e cable are included with the PTZ camera. Additional CAT5e cable can be simply spliced to the existing cable to extend the usable distance up to 1,000 feet.

    Additional cameras with accurate reproduction
The turret dome cameras offer the stylish look and tamper proof features of a metallic dome camera, plus the night vision and weatherproof capabilities of a bullet camera. The 3-axis internal ball design allows you position the camera on target. The rugged cast aluminum case protects the camera and cable from tampering. Cameras can be used outdoors when mounted under a protective covering from direct rain such as an awning, eave, or soffit. The bullet cameras offer a higher level of weather protection and can be mounted in areas subject to occasional rain and sun. Mounting any camera under some type of rain protection is always preferred. Both the turret and bullet cameras offer accurate daylight color reproduction by using Super HAD CCD™ imagers. "White" colored grass, trees, and other similar vegetation is not an issue as displayed by lower end CMOS/IR LED type cameras.

The latest DVR technology with real video processing power
The eight channel pentaplex DVR incorporates the latest dual stream H.264 video codec technology. Up to four times more video is stored on the same size hard drive as previous models. Piczel's dual stream video processing records the highest quality video possible to the hard drive while adjusting the image compression to optimize the DVR's Internet transmission speed. Catch all of the action with global recording speeds up to 240 ips (30 ips per channel). Smartphone monitoring, e-mail with images, SMS text messaging with an image, or standard text only alarm notification messages provide maximum access and connectivity. The included Central Monitoring Station (CMS) Software gives you the ability to monitor up to 64 cameras on one PC screen (including all 8 from this DVR), with video streaming from multiple DVRs from the Piczel 5200 series, and 7200 series systems. Eight external alarm contact inputs add to the flexibility of how events are recorded and alarm e-mail notifications are sent, including the all new Piczel Video Temp Alert (Sam's # 244398). This exclusive accessory displays the temperature of your home or business's monitored area on a camera's video, and triggers your DVR's e-mail feature when there is a problem with heating, cooling, refrigeration units, etc.

Selectable grid video motion detection and fast event search
Video motion detection can be set to record activity to the hard drive, log the event in a list to simplify searches at a future date, and send an e-mail with an attached image of what just happened. To make the video motion detection more accurate and useful, a 13 column by 10 row grid of squares is displayed over each camera view during the motion detection setup process (see the included graphic with the product photos). With 130 small squares superimposed on a camera's view, you can select each square that you choose to be active, triggering an alarm event when there is activity in front of the square. By the same process, you can deactivate any square that lies in an area of known activity that would cause a false alarm, such as a pathway for a pet, or a public access area. Database like storage of video files make retrieval of events a snap. Drill down your searches by date, time, camera, and event type to quickly find the information you are looking for. Play the event or click on to save your selected video to a flash (thumb) drive. While reviewing events from the DVR via the Internet, you can easily save the data file to your computer. You can also take a quick snapshot or record live streaming to your PC as you see it happen! Alpha-numeric on-screen titles, up to 8 characters, can be generated for each channel making identification of the source location much easier, particularly if the powerful 64 channel CMS software is in use.
