Ready to rock? Find your perfect
bling in three easy steps.
Master the four Cs.
When it comes to diamonds, meet your new best friends: cut, clarity, color and carat.
Together, they're a four-part grading system used to value all certified diamonds.
Often confused with shape, the cut measures the reflective qualities, or brilliance, of a diamond. Whatever the shape, a well-proportioned cut lets light shine through for maximum sparkle.
All but the rarest diamonds have super microscopic flaws called inclusions. The number, size and location of inclusions determines the clarity, or flawlessness, of any given diamond.
When it comes to color, less is more! The color, or whiteness, of a diamond is rated on a 23-letter scale from D-Z. At Sam's Club, we're proud to only carry colors D-I, which are virtually colorless.
How big should you go? The size of a diamond is measured by its weight in carats, with 1 carat equal to 0.2 grams. While big bling is nice, just remember, it's not a measure of your love!
Select a shape.
There's no right or wrong

A beautiful square with sharp corners, you'll love the incredible sparkle thanks to its angular lines.

Another common question about diamond rings is: What's the difference between an engagement ring and a wedding ring? Typically, an engagement ring is the gift you give when you propose marriage. Traditional engagement rings have diamonds. Engagement rings are worn on the ring finger on left hand and the recipient may choose to start wearing the engagement ring right away. Wedding rings are exchanged during the wedding ceremony. Wedding rings are worn on the same finger as engagement rings.
