Since the fall of 2013, Lou Reda’s: An American Table has been impressing residents in eastern North Carolina with their wide variety of tantalizing upscale American cuisine. Lou Reda’s is almost unclassifiable by traditional culinary standards. It’s neither a steak house, a seafood restaurant or a “meat and three” comfort food joint – it’s all of those places and more.
Along with delicious staples like a slow cooked brisket and ribs, 14oz hand cut ribeye, fresh cut fish – among countless other menu items you won’t find anywhere else – owner Reda and Chef Justin Gaines explore the vast culinary landscape of America week by week, focusing on different regions and temporarily bringing their staples to the menu. One week you might find an Asian focus or the flavors of New Orleans Cajun or Creole. Another week, you might see an imitation of the many English and Irish pubs of New England, serving up generous portions of bangers and mash or shepherd’s pie. With over 22 years in the restaurant business, Lou knows how to keep his customers bringing their appetites back for more.
