Protect your pipes and fight fully blocked drains with the triple action formula of Liquid-Plumr® Pro-Strength Full Clog Destroyer Plus PipeGuard™ (128 oz. bottles, 2 pk.). This full clog destroyer is easy to use and has a powerful triple action formula designed to pour through standing water, unblocking full clogs, protecting pipes and keeping them clog-free for longer while fighting odors with regular monthly use.

The thick, powerful gel quickly coats the whole pipe and dissolves hair, built-up soap scum, food and other organic matter. This combination of characteristics results in readily flowing drains and leaves a repellent barrier preventing grime from sticking to the pipe walls. Liquid-Plumr Pro-Strength Full Clog Destroyer Plus PipeGuard works well in slow draining sinks and garbage disposals. Liquid-Plumr Clog Destroyer is safe for all pipes and septic systems, including plastic, copper, PVC and old pipes.

How Do You Use It?

For tackling fully clogged drains or just for monthly maintenance, simply pour in 16 ounces of Liquid-Plumr Pro-Strength Full Clog Destroyer Plus PipeGuard, wait 15 minutes and rinse with hot water. For clogged garbage disposals, it's best to turn the garbage disposal on while you rinse to eliminate any large pieces of material remaining that could clog the drain again.

What Makes It Work?

Liquid-Plumr Clog Destroyer contains proprietary amounts of sodium hypochlorite which is a type of bleach, and sodium hydroxide, also known as lye. The combination of these two very strong substances is what dissolves the organic matter that clogs your drains.

How Do Your Drains Really Work?

Fundamentally, your home's drainage system isn't that complicated. Your drainage system isn't pressurized like your pipe system supplying water, so it's gravity that draws your wastewater away. Your roof includes vents allowing air to enter your drainage system, which in turn allows your wastewater to flow properly. So-called "traps" or u-bends beneath your drains are designed to hold water, keeping your drains sealed against the sewer they're draining into, which is why backed up pipes are particularly unpleasant. Liquid-Plumr Clog Destroyer is made to sink directly through the backed up water, getting to and quickly eliminating the blockage.
