This Twin Warmer is perfect for dipping caramel apples. It is to be used as a water bath unit (a double boiler effect). Use with insert bowls (278204)- sold separately. Turn on the warmer(s). Heat to 180. (best temperature for dipping is about 175 - 180 degrees). Dip your apples to within ½ inch up the stick. Pull apple out of the caramel. Scrape the caramel off of the bottom (almost to the skin). Dip in chopped nuts if desired. Hint: For best dipping results, use clean un-waxed apples.
