Powerful.  The reason for my purchase was to replace a nearly decade old unit of the same model number.  They don't last forever.  But while it did last, it did the job.

Efficient for home use

Freakin amazing! We were able to shred all those questionable documents. Stacks of them at a time, staples too. Which was great cause we were in a hurry to destroy all those files. This shredder saved us a ton of money and headaches for years to come.

When you need to shred stuff in a hurry

I brought his during cyber week sale - I just need a shredder (any shredder) and this is perfect! well, when it does get heated up it automatically stops shredding - however on cooling after about 5-7 minutes it back! I am satisfied with it thus far!

Just Perfect!

Powerful and doesn't get clumped up at shredder edges when handling larger # of sheets like others I've had.  I "shake" the machine to better distribute the shredded pieces so they don't accumulate in a pile at rear of bin thereby causing the machine to fill up prematurely if I don't   Would recommend better handholds for emptying because sides are a bit slippery. I am happy with this purchase!

Powerful, with suggestions

Works great. Love how it shreds and the motor keeps going after you put paper in to make sure it doesn’t get stuck… directions do say that it will shut off after running for 5 min so that it will not over heat. I used to wait with my old shredder and do a pile (maybe that is why it broke). So wit this one I shred as needed…

Great shredder

Replacing similar model that finally took a dumper after about 10 years.  Not at all noisy like somebody else said.  o.k for home use, 3 or 4 sheets at a time.  trying the lubricating oil on this one.  didn't even know ( duh) that there was maintenance to be done on old one....

Our shredder worked well Day1, successfully cross-shredding approximately 40 pages. It's never worked since!

Not great

If you follow the directions and run the shredder in reverse after oiling it, it will not run.  Once you run it in reverse it locks up and does not run at all.  I have had a few Fellowes shredders that have been amazing.  This was not.  I am suprised Fellowes would put their name on this piece of useless trash.
Also, it does not have a pull out drawer to empty the shredder (assuming it runs long enough to need emptying).  You have to take the head off to empty it, which means paper shreds go everywhere.

Negative Stars?

I purchased this shredder last week and it was delivered within 5 days. I have owned a Fellows shredder
in the past and was very pleased with it that's why I chose Fellows. However this new shredder did not work right from the start. After three of four minutes it would start filling up and you could not feed it.I was only feeding 2 pieces of paper at a time and waiting between feeds. Never had a problem with my old one. I returned it to the store and got my money back. Will try another brand.
