Mount Comfort's Costa Rica Whole Bean Coffee comes from the famed Tarrazu growing region of Costa Rica. Grown by many small farmers that produce some of the finest coffees in Costa Rica, it is the classic Tarrazu coffee – well-balanced with a heavy body and high, slightly winey acidity. Flavor attributes are complex and range from tropical nuts to dark chocolate to citrus fruit. The dense beans that make up this Tarrazu lend themselves well to many different styles of roasting. Mount Comfort has chosen a lighter roast to highlight these special flavor notes.
