Bacon Wrapped Date with Goat Cheese Recipe


  • 8 slices Hormel® Black Label® Bacon
  • 16 dates
  • 4 oz. goat cheese
  • Toothpicks

    Preheat oven 375 degrees.

    Cut a lengthwise slit into each date lengthwise and remove the pit.

    Place a ½ tsp. of goat cheese into the opening. Pinch the dates closed.

    Cut the bacon slices in half. Wrap around each stuffed date (about 1 ½ times) and secure with a toothpick.

    Arrange evenly on a baking sheet and bake for 10 minutes. Flip each date, and bake for another 5-8 minutes, or until browned to your taste.

    Place the cooked dates onto a paper towel-lined plate and let cool for 5 minutes. Serve and enjoy!
