Avery® TrueBlock® Shipping Labels are a slightly larger style printable white label from the Avery team. It's an eco-friendly label in that its TrueBlock technology allows you to place it over any pre-existing labeling, marking or printing so you can reuse old packages or previously used shipping boxes and envelopes. It is a smart solution for recycling, reusing and saving time from trying to tape over or cover up pre-existing markings. Avery shipping labels are known throughout the industry for their consistent performance, strong adhesive that doesn't fail on tough surfaces and guides your delivery provider to the finish line without falling off or fading. With other white shipping labels, the information on the label can be obscured by whatever lies underneath. These Avery shipping labels completely block it out so you never have to worry.
Are These for Laser Printers?
Yes, Avery TrueBlock Shipping Labels are specifically for laser printers and not recommended for use with inkjet printers. With an Avery shipping labels template you can format your printer to accurately and consistently print the labels perfectly every time, you just need to set the template up once and then swap out the information or content as necessary. Templates exist for almost every application you might use, and are all free to access.
What is Avery TrueBlock?
Avery TrueBlock labels are intended to be used on top of other labels or over pre-existing markings on the package because they completely block out whatever is underneath them. The larger dimensions of these labels, 2 inches by 4 inches, also contribute to their ability to block out whatever lies underneath. They are oversized and thus larger type can be used to print big, clear addresses, labels or barcodes on each label.
Are These Paper or Polyester Labels?
These Avery TrueBlock Shipping Labels are paper labels, so they are not guaranteed to be weatherproof or waterproof. The laser printing compatibility ensures crisp, sharp and legible type but heavy weather such as rain or snow may affect the label more than it would a polyester label.
