There is nothing like a cold refreshing drink on a hot summer day. Choosing between iced tea and the summer staple lemonade can be an impossible decision. AriZona® Arnold Palmer Tea (16 oz bottles, 12 pk.) is a compromise between your two favorite refreshing drinks. This package contains a dozen large-size plastic bottles that are recyclable.

What Is an Arnold Palmer?

An Arnold Palmer Tea is a drink that is half tea and half lemonade. It is a non-alcoholic beverage that was created and made famous by its namesake golfer Arnold Palmer. There are alcoholic versions made with tea, lemonade and vodka but it is usually referred to as a John Daly. AriZona Arnold Palmer Tea is the traditional non-alcoholic version.

What Kind of Tea Does AriZona Arnold Palmer Tea Use?

When it comes to making Arnold Palmer Iced Tea, AriZona sticks to using the traditional black tea blend of teas. The black tea's neutral flavor keeps it from overpowering the lemonade, complementing it instead. There are some brands that may use orange pekoe and a more vanilla flavored black tea, but that is not what is in this bottle.

Does the Arnold Palmer Drink by AriZona Have Caffeine?

While it is true that lemonade does not have caffeine in it, tea naturally has some. The AriZona Iced Tea Arnold Palmer does have approximately 29.9 milligrams of caffeine in each 16-ounce bottle. The company does make a green tea version which has less caffeine per bottle. However, this product does have higher caffeine content.

What Is the Nutritional Content of AriZona Arnold Palmer Tea?

Each 16-ounce bottle is two servings of tea/lemonade mixture. There are 50 calories per serving, so 100 calories per bottle. Each bottle has 10 milligrams of sodium, 26 grams of sugar and 14 grams of carbohydrates. You also get 100% of your daily recommended value of vitamin C from the lemonade.
