Sea of foam

Horrible product. I put in the recommended amount and my pool turned into a sea of foam. Still after 2 weeks I had so much foam, I had to invest in de-foaming products just to get rid of some of the foam. If I wasn't in rain parched California, I would have drained my pool, but with the drought, that wasn't an option. I will give it 2 stars, because it did seem to get rid of most of the algae.

Watch Out For The Foam !!!

Economic in value, especially compared to Leslie's Algaecide. However, don't follow the initial values for new pools. You will have foam for days! Don't put it into the spa separately because if you do . . . it will generate foam that will bubble out of the spa when you turn the air jet on. Know the volume of your pool. Then whatever the recommended amount to add, add 75% of that. That way, you'll somewhat control the foaming.

Foam is a definite possibility

If you're pool never blows air out of the jets, such as you would get if there's a spa connected or solar panels you might not have an issue, but your pool pump does sometime pump some air you will get bubbles. In fact just swimming a lap in the pool will create a trail of bubbles on the water's surface. Additionally, it puts off a chemical smell that tastes nasty when swimming. This all with just 6 ouches added to a 15k gallon pool... Very unhappy. As much as I want to give it 1 star, I'm going with 2 because it might work for some people, and it seems to be effective on the algae. I guess it's back to the 60% stuff for me.

SEE PICTURES!!

THIS PRODUCT CREATES A NIGHTMARE! SEE PICTURES! I don't typically write reviews but if I can save someone the headache. The foam and smell will not go away. It has been almost a week. We have removed all foam by buckets for days and it still comes back!
