Smooth and Refreshing

I absolutely love this tea. I buy the white honey offered at Sams too to mix in it. It is very good. One of my favorites. Such a non jittery form of caffeine. Easier on my stomach than coffee. I choose this over my one cup a day of coffee. I love that it's organic too. This blend is amazing.

semi-matcha

I love high quality, Japanese matcha tea. This is good quality and tastes great, but this is really a mix of green tea in a bag (sencha) with a very tiny bit of matcha (powder). Good matcha tea is much more expensive, but also tastes much better. The amount of matcha (see picture) is so small it's almost insignificant. What I really like is the other green tea at Sams - Bigelow, used to be Uncle Lee. For 175 bags at $8, it is less than half the price of this. I just hope they keep carrying the Bigelow brand.

Nice flavor - love that its organic and from Japan

I've read that, while matcha (green tea powder) is very popular, caffeine is significantly higher in the powder form as is the lead content. With tea leaves, you get about one fifth the amount of caffeine as you get in coffee. Lead is about 30 times greater in matcha powder. Most of it is discarded in the leaves, when you use tea leaves. Also tea from China has high amounts of lead due to industrialization. All in all, this seems like a fairly healthy tea, and has a nice taste.
