If you want a cheap coffee maker that lasts just beyond the warranty period, go ahead and buy this unit. Had a Sunbeam version of this maker, lasted about 2 years, then crapped out. Bought a replacement one as it is affordable (same make and model), lasted just over a year. Makes decent coffee while it works. Leaving a review under Mr. Coffee, as when I opened up the unit to troubleshoot the malfunction, the Sunbeam exterior has Mr. Coffee components inside. Failure of the t-stat seems to be a common issue.

When we first bought this product, we were pretty happy with it, until it quit brewing. So I went out and bought another just like it. It only lasted a couple of months until the display window fogged up, and then it eventually quit brewing also. The lights would come on, but it did not brew. Don't know why, but my husband went and bought another one just like it, but this time it only lasted about 3 weeks before it quit brewing again! Never again! I went and bought a different brand today. We're done with Mr. Coffee!

Woke up this morning, expecting my usual morning pre-set brewed coffee..nothing. Tried to start it, it attempted to start and then beeped like it was done..nothing. So frustrating, I don't remember where I bought it but it wasn't more than 12 months. Had to use my French press (thank god I had that) On to a different brand I guess

Bought this coffee maker December of 2020. Haven't had any problems with it, but suddenly it stopped working. I had family over for Easter breakfast, and when attempting to make a pot of coffee it just beeped at me as though it was done brewing - but nothing was happening. The plate was not hot, the water would not go anywhere. I tried various fixes (changing outlets, letting it sit, cleaning mode) & it just kept beeping at me. Prior to “upgrading to this” I had a Hamilton Beach since COLLEGE, & I stupidly threw it away to get this machine. In the trash this goes, where it belongs!

I bought this coffee maker because I have the same one at my other house in Florida. I bought this in June and it has worked great and has made a great cup of coffee. Tonight, Thanksgiving, we sit down for dessert and a cup of coffee and the coffee maker just beeps. No coffee, totally broken and no coffee to go with our apple pie.

This is my second coffee maker both exactly the same. I just thought it was a fluke when the first one died. I loved the features so I bought another one. This time within a year after the second stopped working too. They both had same problem . It just stopped brewing and the plate wouldn't get hot. I'm so disappointed. I love the features and the color but I need one that will last awhile.

Bought this MrCoffee on December 31th. On Feburary 17 it would no longer work. Lights come on but it does not pump water out to make coffee. Tried different electrical outlets and tried to use the clean option nothing worked. Seems to be a LEMON. I have had several MrCoffee's in the past without a problem.

Bought mine a few months ago and will probably be my last. I'm tired of having to clean up the overflow of coffee and grounds on my countertop and the machine itself. It seems to like to overflow over the basket inside and just soil every where. It has to do with the fact the pot no longer hits the mechanism under the basket enough to have the coffee drip into the pot. I've cleaned it and played with it numerous times and still the same result. Even had two other people mess with it because I thought maybe it was me. Nope. Poor product. Want my money back.

We have now laid our 2nd Mr Coffee maker to rest. He died quietly this morning while trying to brew coffee before the sun rose. All he would give me was one last click and that was it. Our 1st maker did that as well. It is quite disappointing when you spend quite a bit if money on a coffee maker and within a year it dies on you. I've always loved Mr Coffee brand but they need to step up the game on their programmable coffee makers. I have a tea maker that had outlasted all my coffee makers.

I bought this coffee maker about 9 months ago and was happy with it for the first 5-6 months. Then little things started to happen and then suddenly it stopped working. Don't have the receipt anymore so don't know what to do. I wrote a previous review but they won't publish it. Shouldn't happen from a company named MR. COFFEE.
