Poor design to fill with water

We have used Mr. Coffee for years. This model only leaves about an inch of space (in between the lid and the coffee grind holder) to fill the coffee maker with water. It's challenging not to spill the water when you are making a large pot and need to tip the coffee pot to empty the pot of water into the water holder. There is just no room, and the water always spills, and it's annoying!! The water filter cartrige just gets placed onto the grinds and is always soaking wet. It never dries out.

Worst coffee maker

I bought this a month ago in all black and exchanged the first one after 3 days at the store due to it leaking. After a couple weeks with the new one we felt it was working fine and threw out the receipt and the box. I have it set on delay so that when we get up it is ready. Everyday this week it has leaked coffee during the brewing and half of the coffee doesn't even make it into the carafe but runs down the sides of it onto the warming plate and burning and then over flows onto my counter. I have had to spend my mornings cleaning counters and scrubbing burnt coffee off the warming plate. I no longer have my receipt and the we are well past the 14 day exchanged period for the store where we purchased it. I'm very disappointed as we have never had problems with Mr. Coffee before.

The 1st Mr. coffee I bought. what a mistake

This is the first Mr. coffee I bought. I thought you can't go wrong buying a Mr. coffee. I guess I was wrong. I had it for two months before stop working just like it has done for so many other Coffee drinkers. If you have these many failures makes me wonder if someone didn't 't know about this and still send a bad product. I can understand if I had the coffee make for 5 years and it stop working but two months. I am also very disappointed.

Upset with mine

I bought mine a couple weeks ago. I settled for this model because it was in my budget. I always had a Mr coffee maker until I was bought a different one one time. That one finally broke so o replaced it with this one and I am sorry I did. After it brews the hot plate gets cold and then the coffee is ice cold with in 15 minutes. Wish I could afford to buy another Cuisinart!!!!

Killed out quick

Purchased this coffee pot for my mother for Christmas and less than 2 years it's leaking water and coffee underneath it. I know they aren't made to last forever, but I would have liked to get more than a year out of it with it working properly. Still brews, just leaves a giant mess. Her love for Me. Coffee isn't so great anymore.

Disappointed, again

I bought this coffeemaker four months ago because our previous Mr. Coffee coffeemaker stopped working. This morning I went to turn on the coffeemaker and it beeped several times, then nothing. I'm giving up on Mr. Coffee and switching to a more reliable brand. So disappointed!

This machine used to be so great

We've been using this series of Mr. Coffee for years. We loved them so much that we always had a new unused one waiting for when the old one died, which took a LONG time. So last week that happened and we opened the box & pulled out the new one. Right away it was obvious that the top you flip open to pour the water was cheap and flimsy. I looked at these reviews and I was shocked, but I hoped for the best. But the carafe lid broke on THE SECOND DAY OF USE. Wow, unbelievable. We wasted our money & now have to find a new coffee maker brand because Mr. Coffee apparently decided to cut corners. SUPER disappointed.

I love this coffee maker

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My husband and I received this coffee maker for Christmas, we love it. The only problem is, I noticed this morning that the pause and pour feature was not working appropriately. I was trying to get out the door, so kind of blamed myself. When I returned, my husband mentioned the very same thing, and I assured him, that it had happened to me. We both checked it over, but we aren't engineers, so I dont know why the coffee is pouring out when the pot is removed while it is brewing.

Mr. Coffee vs. Krups, Technivorm, Cuisinart....

NOT DISAPPOINTED! FANTASTIC! As someone who has coffees sent to me from friends around the world, I really like coffee and the regional characteristics in flavor profiles. I've owned Krups, Technivorm, Cuisinart, and a host of other coffee makers. But this Mr. Coffee my wife bought, is absolutely superb. It doesn't "cook" the coffee with too high a temp - it actually brews it. This little thing is well made, easy to clean and care for, and it's already 2 years old, and I put it through its paces, because I have a lot of functions at our home for our church, so we make the whole 12 cups often! Some of the big expensive ones we've had didn't even make it 6 months! Would recommend in a heart beat!

Don't accept it even if FREE!!!

Have had coffeemakers that lasted 20 years, with daily use, & have had excellent results with Mr. Coffee maker, so bought this one without checking any reviews -BIG MISTAKE!!! Bought 9/11/2021 & used from 9/12/2021 through 12/12/2021. This morning, 12/13/2021, it beeps that it is done & it hasn't done anything. After several restarts, with no results, we turned the gas stove on under the teakettle & when it boiled, poured hot water through the coffee grounds. Hubby recycled the box it came in, as he insisted in 60 years we had never had to return anything.
