sound good but too tight

I own other B&O products and expected to love this so much that I bought two of them. Unfortunately putting this on my average adult male size head felt like a vice was clamping down on my head. I could also hear the band crack as I tried. I then thought that my petite wife would love it, but she also found it extremely tight & uncomfortable.
