I have used Dawn for decades. I started using the Platinum when it first came out. I just grab a bottle at the store and go. A couple months ago, I got a new bottle. First time doing the dishes the smell was terrible! I thought I had grabbed the wrong bottle. I looked and it was the Platinum, but I noticed the scent on the bottle was different. Refreshing Rain is similar to Fresh Scent so I didn't notice it. I went to several stores looking for the plan Fresh Scent and it is no where to be found. I see on Dawn's website it is not even listed anymore as an option. I'm extremely disappointed in this changed. The smell is way to storage and overbearing. I will have to go to another brand of dish soap.

Very displeased with this new Dawn, not only did the scent change but the whole formula. It doesn't clean the same and it doesn't clean well. The new "Original Dawn" which is no longer "original" doesn't cleanse or rinse off well at all. Leaves a residue on dishes and you can taste the soap even after several rinses.

Dawn platinum is the best dishwashing liquid on the market and you can use it for more than just dishes. It cleans the mesiest cooked on baked on crap. As well as greesy car messes or anything else. It's my go to and always will be. It also smells fantastic

This scent of Dawn is my favorite so far. It's so nice to smell and even maybe a little calming?? Nice and sudsy. I don't know if Dawn has any controversies in the media (I would stop using) but I support for now because I read that wildlife refuges use Dawn to clean animals and to get oil out of undercoats and birds' feathers.

Dawn is the only dish washing soap brand i purchase in my home. I find that all other brands seem watered down and ineffective. This brand is powerful and totally gets everything off your dishes quickly without having to put up too much elbow grease.

In a time when American consumers are becoming more conscious of the harmful chemicals present in their daily products and are moving away from those things, here comes Dawn with a brand new chemical-smelling perfume additive. What a poor choice for this company. The odor irritates my asthma and made my face itchy when I touched it after having used this soap to wash the dishes, so if this is what I can expect from a product that's been a staple to generations, I won't be using it anymore.

I bought this thinking it was original scent, and when I used it, I looked at it multiple times trying to figure out if I had mistakenly purchased fabric softener or something I would give this a NEGATIVE star rating if I could. It's putrid scented and beyond bad.

I love Dawn and have used it for years. The new scent on Dawn Platinum is chemical and harsh. Ruins what used to be an enjoyable chore. The clean smell when you are doing dishes was one of the reasons I used Dawn. But no longer, I will be throwing away my bottle or giving it away. Please go back to the original scent.

The new smell for this and Dawn blue is awful. I have had to throw out the full bottle. Looking for a new brand to try. The new fragrances trigger migraines in a few if my friends and my daughter. It smells as bad as AXE deodorant and lingers on items even after double rinsing

I absolutely love Dawn dishwashing soap. It's a very versatile product that is very affordable and really gets its job done. From cleaning dishes, floors, and animals Dawn is really a trusted and well-used product in our home I would recommend this very affordable product to others and I will continue being a repeat customer in the future.
