I’ve been buying dawn dish soap for so long even though I have a dish washer. Occasionally something needs to be hand washed and it’s my go to. Leaves the dish sparkling and a little bit goes a long way. On a side note it works on pets if you don’t have shampoo for them!

I swear by Dawn Platinum. I use it a lot during the day for hand-washing dishes and kitchen cleanup. I just opened a newly-purchased bottle and found it nauseating. Thought it was just a bad bottle until I read these other reviews about the "improved" scent. The scent is now on my counters where I cleaned up and lingering in the kitchen, and I have a bad headache. Noticed it immediately upon putting some of this in the sink. I also have used Dawn Platinum for years to clean our pool cover several times a week - it removes dust and dirt while being gentle enough not to eat up the plastic, and left a pleasant smell (And the covers saves lots of water from evaporation here in Calif.) I could never leave THIS sickening new smell on anything that I was going to get close to. Please fix this back to the old refreshing rain. Also, PLEASE don't mess with the platinum powerwash spray - the most useful new product to hit the market in years and I would hate to live without it. Thanks.

This has been the only dish detergent I have used in YEARS .......... I soak my dirty dishes while cleaning up after a meal, then when you go to wash them, the food washes off quickly, and voila, they are clean !!!! Same for pots and pans, also, I have mopped my small kitchen and bathroom floors with it. I also clean my CPAP facial mask with it, my hair brushes are soaked in a container for at least an hour with DAWN. Well, there are Just some of the things I can think of now, because this product has served me well over the years, I trust its quality and safety in my home. I have used this brand of dishwashing liquid for years. I find that nothing beats the “blue” Dawn dishwashing liquid. I use it to wash my dishes and I also use it mixed with other ingredients to spot treat laundry. I will continue to purchase this brand.

I just found another use for Dawn. If the pipe that your toilet flows into seems slow try putting in approximately 3/4 to one cup of Dawn and letting it sit for 60 minutes. Then take a large pan for of hot TAP (not boiled) water and pouring in the toilet. It worked to get my sluggish flushing toilet back to top performance. If you want more ideas recommend you use "Google" for more information on this and other uses for Dawn.

We use this product to wash dishes (of course), as an insecticide, and to remove stains on clothing (best product for stains). When my kids get grass stains, food stains blood stains (don’t ask) and all other stains on their clothing, they are not shy to tell me. They walk over to the sink, get their clothing item wet and apply dawn then they place it in their laundry basket. No more worries! Most recently, my husband came in from working on the car with a greasy bolt in hand and sat on my new, white sofa. He fell asleep and the greasy bolt fell on the sofa. There was grease on my white sofa! He looked at me in horror, smiled and we simultaneously said, “get the dawn!” (Well, I yelled at him first, then we got the dawn) We got the stained area wet, applied the dawn, a few circular rubs with a damp wash cloth and voila! Stain disappeared!

I always swear by the original dawn, but this definitely takes off stuck on food ! Fill sink with hot water and this product ,and soak for a few minutes yes and bam ! Gone! So glad I grabbed this stuff , especially being a big sized family and a ton of dishes, this saves me time !

Dawn gets out stains in clothes, get crayon marks off walls. I haven't used anything but dawn in 5 years, and don't plan on changing. Thank you dawn debra smith

OK I never thought I would love a dishwashing liquid as much. I have use us exclusively for a few years now and I think it’s the best. A few months ago they were out of it at my store and I purchased a different brand and now I realize how much I love this even more I use it on dishes but I also use it for cleaning.
