A little goes a long way . WE don’t have a dishwasher so getting dishes really clean can be hard at times . Dawn really does cut thru the grease and grime . Leave some our dishes clean and pretty. More expensive than other dawns but also comes in a pump . 

I have loved Dawn Platinum, but no more. The "new improved" Fresh scent gives me an instant headache. Dawn Fresh Scent previously was pretty innocuous. The 'improved' scent smells like the potty cakes used in urinals. I will no longer by buying Dawn--it literally makes me sick.

This has a super fresh scent and cleans hand washed items very well. Recently I’ve switched to Dawn Platinum Powerwash Dish Spray Dish Soap Fresh Scent 16 Fl Oz because I think it is a more powerful formula and the spray can be controlled. Like booth so no problems with either. #follow4followalways

I have long used Dawn Ultra Platinum and loved it. I just bought a new bottle and the scent was changed! Now it smells like old lady perfume. You know, the cloying, overly-floral kind that makes you want to choke. I'm sad I will have to look for a new product now! Dawn has been so great for its grease cutting properties. But if it stinks like this, I won't be able to use it anymore. Yuck.

Very, very disappointed. The rain scent is just horrid - like an overly floral perfume from the past century. Not fresh at all - more like musty. Why did you change the scent! It reminds me of when you changed the original Tide scent a few years back - this is the same awful scent that caused me to never buy Tide again! I won;t be buying Dawn anymore unless I can find the original fresh scent. Also I noticed that it is very hard to rinse the dishes, they almost seem to be coated with a slick film.

The new dawn has an overpowering scent. It lingered on my sponge, dishes, silverware and pans. It transferred flavor to my fruits and vegetables even though the dishes were thoroughly rinsed in hot water. I don't understand the need for these strong scents in everything from toilet paper to laundry and dish detergent. Many of us are very sensitive to scent, it literally makes us sick. I would give 5 stars to your original Dawn. If you insist on continuing with this product could you please label it in large enough print so that I and others won't have to make another trip to the grocery store to return it. If not I will reluctantly have to start looking for a replacement brand.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] ZI found this product to be a real value. It takes less time to soak and wash dishes because of the estra power it has to loosen dried on food. I use less detergent and get cleaner dishes with less effort. Oh, and it smells great too. Win .... win.... win.

I have used Dawn for decades. I started using the Platinum when it first came out. I just grab a bottle at the store and go. A couple months ago, I got a new bottle. First time doing the dishes the smell was terrible! I thought I had grabbed the wrong bottle. I looked and it was the Platinum, but I noticed the scent on the bottle was different. Refreshing Rain is similar to Fresh Scent so I didn't notice it. I went to several stores looking for the plan Fresh Scent and it is no where to be found. I see on Dawn's website it is not even listed anymore as an option. I'm extremely disappointed in this changed. The smell is way to storage and overbearing. I will have to go to another brand of dish soap.

I've always loved using Dawn on my dishes. I wouldn't use anything else! I also use it in the laundry room on grease stains on clothes and recently I found another great use for it. Dog's saliva will stain their white coat, well I've found that with some work, Dawn will remove that stain too. Thank you Dawn!!

Dawn has always been the best dish washing detergent in my opinion. It’s very effective at cutting grease and lasting a long time. The platinum line seems to really work well at getting stuck on food with minimal soaking. The price is good and as far as I’m concerned, Dawn makes the best!
