ORIGINAL DAWN - NEW SCENT: I hate the new smell of "original" Dawn. It is awful. I bought a new bottle (not realizing there was a new scent) and after washing dishes, I looked around my kitchen trying to find what was so stinky, something spoiled but couldn't find anything. I even flushed my sink drains thinking there was something down it. I was sad to realize it is the Dawn new scent. PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE go back to the original scent. I love Dawn. It is my go-to and the only one I buy. Don't encourage me to use your other versions, I just want my original scent back!!!!!!! Please. Thank you.

I’ve always used Dawn products and they have been great. I love the Dawn Platinum Original Scent, but the new Rain Scent is horrible. It smells very bad and dries out my hands. I feel like it’s very thick compared to the original. I think it might be time to start looking for a new dish soap.

This product is great I love the thickness of the liquid I like the way that the suds stay in the water after washing the dishes when you're cooking and you know you need to watch more dishes you don't have to change the water and it's good on greasy pots and pans I buy this particular dishwashing liquid all the time and I suggest that you try it

I always buy Dawn dish soap (30-40 years). I started using Dawn Platinum for the grease cutting. But, this last bottle I just bought smells horrible. I was raised on a farm, so am used to bad smells. So I started to smell the other dish soap brands to find something else. After checking out other brands, I found Grove lemon, it smells better and WORKS better than your updated Dawn, and is better for you.

In a time when American consumers are becoming more conscious of the harmful chemicals present in their daily products and are moving away from those things, here comes Dawn with a brand new chemical-smelling perfume additive. What a poor choice for this company. The odor irritates my asthma and made my face itchy when I touched it after having used this soap to wash the dishes, so if this is what I can expect from a product that's been a staple to generations, I won't be using it anymore.

I've been buying Dawn for years. I always felt it was a better quality soap. Recently I feel I've had to use more for each wash than in it past. But the biggest issue I've run into is the scent. It's such a strong, perfume scent and it's getting absorbed into my cups, bowls etc but mainly absorbed into my baby's bottles. He's started refusing the bottle of milk because the scent is so strong and won't go away even after sanitizing them. I'm extremely disappointed especially since I have a huge refill bottle of Dawn to get through. Waste of money. Won't be buying again.

I don't know the difference between this and regular Dawn. Sometimes they send coupons for this specifically so I get it but it's whatever. They're all the same to me. I think this one does cost a bit more. If so, probably not worth it. Regular Dawn just as good.

this is a great soap! it works well on food and grease, i don’t even have to scrub hard to remove them! also, the scent is amazing! the price is reasonable! and a little goes a long way! i would highly recommend this product and i will be buying again!

Dawn is a must have at any house! The platinum is worth the extra cost and smells fantastic. I would recommend to anyone and buy around once a month. I use it frequently to help clean dishes, and other products as needed. Soap and water are a great way to gently clean any items.

I love how the smells and how it makes my dishes look and I cannot get over how well it cleans off grease or things that have been sitting on a plate for a few hours, it’s seriously breaks it down better than anything else and I would recommend it to anyone!
