I love Dawn dish soap and have used it for years but the last bottle I bought at Sam's has a new fragrance and it's overpowering. I don't want my dishes to smell like perfume and it lingers on my hands after I've rinsed and rinsed. I won't be buying it again.

Have used Dawn for years with great results but the last couple of bottles have been runnier and not as good as previous bottles plus the price has increased. It has become a bargain basement product with a premium price. Will be switching to something else for future use.

This new scent smells nasty. I was trying to figure out what it smells like to better explain. To me it smells like a topical cream a doctor would prescribe. It cleans well and all but that smell is not pleasant. 🗣Dawn please bring back the original scent. We’re waiting. ⏰⏰⏰⏰

Always used Dawn liquid but I cannot stand the new refreshing rain scent in the 4x platinum formula. I always keep a supply of Dawn on hand but now find myself with 3 big 90 oz bottles of the stuff that stinks like stink bugs whenever I use it, it is nauseating to me. Whatever we’re the Dawn people thinking with this scent, they missed the mark big time. Can no longer recommend this product.

I bought this and didn't notice it wasn't the original, after 2 days of sneezing my head off in the kitchen I realized it was the dawn. I hadn't done dishes for a day and as soon as I opened it the sneezing started. Wish those out there that are sensitive to scents that Sam's would put something on the shelf at the store to let people know it's a new scent.

My husband passed 5 years ago so I decided to sell our camper in march of this year. I had almost a full big bottle so I used it. The new stuff Dawn Platinum 4x power isn't no where as good as the original Dawn from about 6 years ago. I about to start looking for a new brand. My Dawn from the camper was way thicker also. I'm so sad about changing to a different brand.

I’ve used Dawn since I was a little girl helping my mom wash dishes. That was over 35 years ago and it’s still the only soap I buy at home. A little goes a long way. The only negative thing has nothing to do with the product. The shipping department did a very poor job packaging the product. They put in a bag and added some brown filler that wasn’t enough padding. The box was in tact, but the bottle busted and leaked in the bag. There should be better quality control in shipping.

The soap does it's job at removing grease and cleaning your dishes but the most recent bottle I purchased has a different scent. It smells like really inexpensive perfume and it's not a great scent it's actually made me reconsider if I'm going to keep purchasing this item.

This formula is completely different, they want us to believe it was just the scent but its now super runny and not as effective at all. The absolute worst thing about the change is definitely the smell as EVERYBODY is mentioning. Returning and switching brands! DAWN, yall had a great run but I believe you ended yourselves with this mistake.

My husband got this thinking it was the original DAWN. It smells so chemically. I can't stand the smell. It lingers in the plastic storage containers, even though they are rinsed well. So disappointed in this product. It would probably be great in a work shop or garage but the smell is too much for the kitchen
