Beth, we certainly don't want a Dawn Fan to ever be unhappy, and we're sorry you're having this experience. It's not something that we'd expect with Dawn Platinum. Hard water, which contains a lot of dissolved minerals, is the number one cause of reduced effectiveness. If you live in a hard-water area, or you’re cleaning very greasy dishes, you may need to use more Dawn liquid.
