Love everything about this product. It's concentrated so you don't have to use much to get the job done. It's also great for getting some stains out of clothes

Its new smell is horrible and I will find another brand. Why change something that worked? I bought 3 bottles recently and thought I just got a defective one but Nope! I bet you can’t even use it on wildlife that needs rescuing.

How could you think this scent was OK? We are over 65 and have used Dawn forever. Not anymore. We're changing brands. By the way, your admission that the recent change in the scent name is very revealing; not a real change - just a name change. It's all about the marketing. Fresh rain smells nothing like this!

I am in my 40s and have used Dawn my entire life. New scent “fresh” is awful. It smells like rotting onions and I feel like it stinks to my dishes. Returning my purchase and I guess I will find a new dish soap. Take a cue from the makers of Smart Balance who tried to change their formula too. They ended up changing right back after a few months. If it’s not broke then don’t fix it.

I use only Dawn dish soap because when I've used it other dish soaps I notice that they really don't clean the way that Dawn does and they don't get off grease. Dawn has been a staple in my cabinet because of how powerful it is. I also clean the frig and counters with it with added bleach. It smells refreshing and I know it's removing germs.

I have discovered that Dawn platinum dish soap is for more than washing the dishes and getting them clean. I also use it to get out stains in my clothes with baking soda and vinegar. Whatever Dawn thought this was supposed to smell like when they reformulated, they completely missed the mark. This stuff smells like Grandma's kitchen which is filled with mothballs. It's absolutely disgusting smelling. Does it clean well? Sure. I'd prefer if my kitchen didn't smell like an old closet after doing the dishes.
