So far I have used this machine twice. There are some problems, but not with the machine. The user/operator (me) has to get more familiar with the process to facilitate the process of making coffee, such as filling the filter and tamping it properly.This will just take practice on my part. Hopefully I will soon get the hang of using the correct process of the machine. Previous to this machine I used a Mr. Coffee Latte machine (very easy to use, but required six (6) teaspoons. of coffee for one cup of latte). That is not too economical.

MAKES A VERY STRONG CUP OF COFFEE

I bought this as a Christmas present for a family member. We have one and think it looks great and works really well. It arrived in time for Christmas which was great but when my daughter tried to use it for the first time - no luck. It heated the water and made noise but did not brew coffee... nothing came out. Sams Club was sold out and no longer carries the Breville, so she tried to contact Breville several times but no luck. In her 3rd call to Breville she was on hold for more than 2 hours. Finally Breville responded to an email and they are sending a replacement - a new model which is appreciated but it does not look as nice as the model originally purchased. Lets hope the replacement works. This has been a lot of work and something I don't think you want to happen when you give someone a gift!
