they had a nice lemony taste, but i expected the custard in the middle like a traditional lemon bar %26 it's just bread

these are not lemon bars this is a bread with lemon flavor and it's dry disgusting never ordering these

First off these are not lemon bars they're lemon cake and even then they did not use real lemon it's definitely artificial lemon flavoring. My husband and I both took one bite and threw them out. Don't waste your money.

I was given a free sample for my honest review. Not really a lemon bar or a blondie. Does have a nice flavor and texture is soft. More like a lemon cake. If they cut the pieces in half and made 18 instead of 9, one piece is a lot to get thru.

I was given a free sample for my honest review. I love the combination of a blondie with a lemon bar. It is a good texture and more the texture of a blondie and less lemon bar. It is not too sweet, which I liked. I wanted a little more lemon flavor for sure. They needed just a little bit more tart lemon.

They are pretty. That's about the best thing about them. Some are calling them brownie-like, some cake-like, in reality they are just dry. Too dry. I felt like a little dust might puff out of my mouth after a few bites. The lemon flavor is present, not too much or too little, but it is an odd flavor. They are either dusted with some powdered sugar or covered in dust from being so dry, not sure as they aren't sweet. They definitely need moisture, like a natural lemon curd or a lemon frosting might save them? Each piece is really big and could be cut into triangles. If you can find a way to moisten them, maybe some lemon/sweetened condensed milk poured on top like a leches style.
