I had to work with it after I transplanted to a large planter but it seems to be thriving now .

Plant looked healthy and had buds, however, after a very short careful ride from the store all the leaves and buds are dropping and turning brown. I have other gardenias so I am aware of proper care. Sadly, this plant will be returned.
