It's comical to write this review today. I had the pleasure of staying the past two nights in a hotel the for a business/work trip; after sleeping on purple for a month or so. I used to absolutely love my hotel stays. But not this time. While I slept okay, it definitely wasn't better than my home purple mattress. I'm in love. I'll never look back. I'm so happy to be home tonight. Thank you Purple, keep doing what you're doing right.

So far we have been very happy with our Purple Mattress - California King size. We had a minor issue when an indention in the mattress so they sent me a new one. I was impressed with their customer service. I will say the mattress is a bit more firm than I predicted, but my wife and I are both sleeping well with it so far.

I'm a side sleeper, one of the biggest concerns for me before was when I'm sleeping on my side, it puts too much pressure against my shoulder. And I would try avoiding that by sleeping in this weird position where my head is side on the pillow, but my torso is only halfway turned. Purple mattress does a great job in relieving pressure from my shoulder. However, my significant other hated the bed for being too soft for him and he would rather sleep on the couch. I guess if I liked purple just a tad more I would consider leaving him, but my fiancé is too perfect to let go. Unfortunately we will have to return this mattress.

On average, human beings spend 33 percent of their lives sleeping. I'm sure glad that percentage of my life will be on a Purple mattress! From the day my husband and I unpacked our King Purple we haven't gotten a better sleep anywhere else. Unlike other mattresses, the Purple forms firmly, but comfortably to your body. It does not leave you in a pool of sweat, or with an unpleasant sinking feeling as many regular and memory foam mattress do. This spacious, comfortable sleep system is perfect! After staying in other beds, we've noticed we can't quite get the restful, refreshing sleep as our Purple. We have recommended it to anyone and everyone looking for a new bed! I love this bed! It definitely lives up to its reputation. It is much more supportive than our other mattresses. The only recommendation that I have is to have an option for a thicker purple topper. I have severe shoulder and hip pain and the thinner top is good but a thicker one would ease my discomfort more.

I have tried many mattresses over the years, from traditional spring, memory foam and even high priced air beds, and i can say honestly purple is the best. I been on the purple bed for a little over a month and still cant believe how much better i sleep. Ohhh yea best price too. LOVE MY PURPLE BED AND SHEETS.

I bought the Purple mattress (Original style) to relieve insomnia and back pain. At the time I did not need a new mattress, I needed a new type of mattress. Didn't review it then, wanted to see if it stood the test of time. Nearly four years later, it remains the best and most used investment in my health and comfort. Since it was for my health, and they were running a special, I went all-in and bought everything from the foundation, bedding, and the original style pillow. (I am a back-sleeper, the height of the original pillow keeps my neck aligned). Having the bedding made especially for the mattress made sense; the company would only want the best experience for users. The foundation is very sturdy and I can use an antique bed frame. The pillow is so heavy, but it doesn't shift around when I do, so it is always comfy.

My husband and I have only been sleeping on the purple mattress a short time, but long enough to know this is the mattress for us. It is so comfortable and when I lie down, the mattress almost feels like I'm suspended in air. We love, love, love the Purple Mattress.

It's only been two weeks, and would rather have waited the 100 days to write a review, but the Purple people were all like, "Please write a review or we'll think no one loves us." After being brutalized for three years by a name-brand memory foam mattress, I decided to give Purple a try. I didn't realize until after I ordered it that I had ALL the symptoms Goldilocks mentions in the commercial. Two weeks in and my nearly debilitating shoulder pain is GONE. Even if it's not the silver bullet for all of my issues, I'm already sleeping better than I have in years.

My wife and I are split on it. From our old bed it's a great improvement because it no longer sags so my back feels a lot better. It's different from other beds in terms of the way you do and don't sink into it. My wife is only 105lbs while I'm double that. She does not find it soft enough because it doesn't give to her weight as it does to me. We still plan to keep it. I will say the customer service has been hit or miss. The item showed up partly opened missing the instructions on how to unroll and tools to help open. I contacted them about it and those items showed up a few weeks later (I appreciated that they sent it, but could have been helpful sooner since I waited a day or two to open it fully). We're thinking about moving and because of the weight it's got me wondering how difficult this thing will be to move compared to other mattresses. That shouldn't be a major deal as it will be a one time move, but still. Things to consider.
