Works well for me and my fiance. We are both side sleepers and our back have felt better from that standard spring mattress we had before. I have overheating problems when I sleep and the breathability of this mattress helps that significantly as well.

The purple mattress is my first mattress over $500. I wanted to invest into something I use so often. I have used for a month now and I can honestly say there is a difference in neck pain and lower back pain. There is also a difference in how fast I go back to sleep after waking up to toss and turn. According to my Fitbit my tossing and turning has gone down but only but a tiny bit. I look forward to many more months/years.

I have really enjoyed this mattress but must say that my hubby is not adjusting well. He is very tall and also overweight, has two disc messed up and drives one of our trucks every day. Sometimes he will rest ok for several hours but usually moves to his recliner during night. My next purchase will prob be the adjustable frame.

When I got the original purple mattress it felt good for a month or so but after it hit the two month mark the bed started to sag and became uncomfortable. Purple also claims their beds help hot sleepers well that's false, I woke up several of nights sweating, when you spend upwards of $1,000 those type of things shouldn't happen. When you sleep on your back and transition onto your side it feels like an effort because it's sagging so bad. Highly wouldn't recommend this mattress to anyone.

While we did not end up keeping our mattress, as it was not quite right for us, Purple was a great company to use. We live in rural MT and our mattress was delivered right to our door. Instead of returning the mattress to Purple, we were able to donate it to a local charity AND get our full refund. This is a great way to go since our mattress will now be able to go to a family in need instead of in a landfill. Thank you Purple for the great customer experience even though we did not end up keeping our bed.

This mattress allows me to sleep through the night, without waking up each time I change position. In addition, I no longer have to hang my feet out of the sheets because they get too hot. This mattress allows me to sleep cooler, which makes a big difference in the quality of sleep I get. I intend on buying another Purple mattress for our guest bedroom, and I've already recommended Purple to family and friends!!!

The mattress started out great, it was a joy to sleep on for the first 8-10 months, bought new Sept. 26th, 2017. But now it's like sleeping in a trough. All the areas around where your body is laying are still firm, but when you're laying in the area you sleep, it feels degraded, broken down somehow. It's nothing you can really see, and not really measurable, as far as just looking at it. But the sleep has gotten to the point that by the time we wake up, both of us, our backs just ache. And sometimes you just lay there, trying to make yourself comfortable, all night. NOT what we were sold on, and NOT what we expected, based upon the reviews. We went from super happy with our purchase, to super disappointed, in just over 24 months.

My wife and I purchased 2 new TwinXL adjustable frames. After much research we could not decide on the Purple Mattress vs. Tuft & Needle. So I came up with the idea to get one of each, test sleep them both and return the one we did not care for. We both gave them a very good long sleep study and ended up LOVING the Purple the best. Ordered the 2nd Purple and once arrived returned the Tuft & Needle. The no questions asked return policy of both companies made this testing easy to do and we now sleep AWESOME!

I sleep in all positions and my wife mainly is a side sleeper. We've now had our Purple for about 2 months and wow, we love how it feels. It supports in the right ways, we don't wake up hurting anymore like we did with our previous mattress. Also love how cool it stays, it warms up to your body, but never really seems to retain or build up heat. If I get up the use the bathroom and lay back down it's not cold, but it feels fresh, not like most mattress I've had that are still warm after minutes. We're extremely pleased with this mattress so far.

I was no longer able to sleep on my 12 year old pillow top mattress. The indentations on each side where my wife and I sleep were permanent and giving us daily debilitating back pain. I did as much research as I could and decided to buy a Purple. Not only did I get the mattress, but the full package of platform base, sheets, mattress protector, and pillow. Our first night was interesting. Between the smell of the mattress and the smell of the pillow we almost couldn't stand it. A change in the mattress was hard for our bodies to adjust to, so we didn't get much sleep the first week but we noticed our backs were not in as much pain. There was also some unexpected stiffness that we hoped would go away. Almost 60 days sleeping on this mattress I would give it 3 stars if my wife didn't like it so much. She sleeps well, doesn't have pain or stiffness, and has no complaints. I however still have daily stiffness which is very uncomfortable, though the actual spinal pain has lessened and is nearly eliminated. The stiffness seems to be muscle related and is probably not just the mattress' fault. For me, this mattress is like medicine. It's not comfortable and I don't look forward to sleeping in it, but I can't deny that it does feel better than an old broken mattress. If only it had a little more top cushioning...and then they released the new spring mattresses with the options for more top cushioning. Unfortunately I don't have the extra cash to afford a deluxe Purple mattress even if I return the one I have. I would send it back if I could find a better mattress that I could afford, but I'm not sure that it exists. A spring pillow top mattress might be more comfortable, but they wear out too fast and are not worth the long term problems. All other mattresses seem to have too many cons, or are basically the same as Purple. So because my wife sleeps well I guess we'll keep it and I'll just hope that I'm just being too picky about a mattress that is probably as comfortable as it gets. I will add it does sleep very cool, but not so cool that my wife ends up freezing (she gets cold easily). I wish this was the mattress of my dreams, and I can't deny it's pretty good, but if only there was a mattress that took all the pain and stiffness away and that I couldn't wait to sleep in each night.
