I was sold on their silly commercial... But it's actually the most comfortable thing ever! I brag about it to everyone, and on 3 different occasions, a friend would come over and we would plan to go out to the clubs/bars, and within 5 minutes after just laying on it, they either ask to just stay in and sleep over or take a nap first! I had heard of people ranting and racing about the awesome sleep they were getting on the Purple mattress so I decided to get one too. It was time to replace my old mattress and I could really use some of that amazing sleep that I was hearing about. I've had the Purple mattress for about a month now and I can honestly say that it is a great mattress. Soft and firm at the same time and sleeps cool as advertised but what didn't happen was the "miracle sleep" that I would write home to mom about. I found that I actually needed to get use to being supported while I sleep. Seems weird to say but other purple mattress owners can probably confirm this. After a month I can say that I have had the most consistent and comfortable sleep that I've had in a long time. It wasn't an overnight turn around but my back doesn't hurt anymore and I can actually sleep through the night.

We've had our share of good - and bad - items. But being a scientist myself, I was impressed by the technology you used in the creation of the Purple mattress. So I agreed to try it. The mattress arrived within just a few days after purchasing it - well in advance of the estimated wait time given Purple's popularity. The way the mattress is packed with the purple wrapping was very helpful to prevent cutting the mattress during the first cut into the outer wrap. For the last several months I had been sleeping in the guest bed because of a herniated disk and the propensity to throw my back out. When I lay down on the Purple, it felt comfortable, sort of like floating in space. But the best part was when I awoke the next morning: Backache, goodbye! My back felt noticeably less sore than the day before. Over the next two days, my chronic backache all but disappeared. I had been thinking I might need another cortisone shot for my herniated disk, but after three days sleeping on Purple, I felt so much better - and have stayed without that chronic ache - that I don't need the cortisone. I had serious hip and leg pain, but sleeping on the Purple Mattress has made it so I have no pain at all. I bought a regular Purple mattress because I need more support, and boy does it provide! It's far less squishy and soft than I anticipated, yet it's very comfortable. I've been waking up pain-free (this wasn't often the case with my old unsupportive pillow-top) and well-rested. The first couple of nights sleeping on it were a little odd as I adjusted to the new feel, but now I couldn't be happier.

After 10 years of polite debate, I finally convinced my husband that it was time to retire the slab of concrete disguised as a mattress that we had been tossing and turning on for all of these years. My daughter feel and broke her back in HS and had a hard time sleeping on normal beds after that. We tried foam and soft beds, but the pain was persistent. We've had our purple mattress for four years and thoroughly enjoyed it. However as of late we had some issues with it. Purple customer service was able to provide us with a replacement mattress thanks to their generous 10 year warranty. The process was pretty straightforward and received nothing but excellent support from the entire team at purple. I would definitely recommend a purple mattress to anyone looking for a good night's sleep.

I have scoliosis and have a difficult time getting comfortable, after reading the reviews I decided to give the purple mattress a try. Right out of the box it was incredibly comfortable and after sleeping on it I knew I had to buy one for my daughter who also has scoliosis!

This mattress is awesome! I've been feeling less stiff upon waking in the morning. The only problem is is that when I sleep too long, like 10+ hours, I feel it I'm my hips. I've suffered from hip bursitis in the past so feeling that pain in my hips when waking up every now and then is a little disappointing. Especially because the pressure points are one of the main things you use in advertising. Nonetheless, it is still a great bed and overall I'm pleased with my purchase. I plan on getting a pillow when I can afford it.
