We've had our purple mattress for a few months now and it's been so wonderful. My husband used to have lower back pain frequently and it's all but disappeared since we started sleeping on this mattress. I'd describe our nights as sleeping on clouds. Love it!

I purchased several items from Purple recently including two purple harmony pillows, purple sheets, a purple mattress, and a weighted blanket. I felt like it was time to upgrade my mattress and was excited to learn about Purples technology as I am a side sleeper and would regularly wake up with shoulder and arms pains. I unwrapped my mattress and it was immediately ready for use. The Purple mattress is extremely comfortable and I wake up in the morning without any aches or pains. I definitely recommend Purple products and have already referred family and friends. Thank you Purple!

I am not one to write reviews however, this bed is AWESOME! There's no comparison to other beds. It's not too soft or too hard, it is perfect! I've slept in expensive themopedics only to wake up sweating and uncomfortable not w purple though! It's been about a month and I can't even express w words how much I love this bed!

My previous mattress was very soft. I have never had back pains until I slept on this mattress. I'm assuming when I get used to the firmness it'll be better. After the arrival it has taken some time but I am approaching getting the same amount of sleep (not great) as I did in my old mattress that was well past retirement time. If you are making the transition from a soft mattress be prepared for a rough few weeks.

Dear Purple, When my brother told me that his purple bed was changing the way he slept I believed him, but I had no idea! While my husband fell in love right away, it took me about 3 days to adjust to our new bed. But now I have never slept better. I'm sleeping through the night, my back and neck don't hurt when I wake up, and I find I have more energy. Our purple is one of the best purchases I think we have ever made. THANK YOU

We shopped for a "mattress in a box" for a few weeks and decided to give Purple a try due to it's awesome advertising campaign, specifically the egg test. When we got the mattress installed, we were immediately satisfied with our choice. It really isn't like any other mattress on the market, definitely worth a try. When you lay on it you sink right in. An unexpected added bonus... it keeps people from jumping on the bed since their are no springs to bounce.

I am finally the proud owner of a Purple 4 mattress, and my only regret is that it took me so long to get one. I have been mildly obsessed with Purple products since the internet exploded with hype a few years back, but never bought a mattress because I wanted to try it out first. (I have the Royal butt pillow, though, and it's amazing.) Well, I finally found a local store that has all four Purple models in store! I went for a visit, tried them all out, and fell in love with the Purple 4. Now, I like soft beds, but I can admit that there's a point where a bed becomes too soft and no longer supportive. The Purple 4 is soft like that, but you can really feel the support. I'm a side sleeper, and so I always have tension in my shoulders and hips, and with the Purple 4, those parts just sink right in, and the rest of my body is still supported. It sounds like I'm quoting the commercials, but it really is true. One of the big reasons I didn't get a Purple mattress from the internet is because the polymer is such a different material from regular mattresses and I was concerned it would feel really weird to lay on. It doesn't. The mattress cover is padded enough that you can't feel the grid at all. The no-motion-transfer thing is really awesome too. I go to sleep much later than my husband, and my getting in bed used to wake him up. Not anymore with Purple! I also have the Purple mattress protector, which is exciting because it's stretchy and breathable! I've never had a stretchy mattress protector before, and it's really a great thing, especially with a mattress like this that is meant to be squishy and cooling. If you put a rigid protector and sheets on it, you're losing part of the benefit of the mattress. I use regular jersey knit sheets as well, for the stretch, but I'm probably going to get the Purple sheets soon too (in purple of course). The store had them in stock as well and they feel quite pleasant.

I had a tempurpedic mattress for the last ten years. It was good but way too hot in the summer and it wasn't great for my lower back issues. I got the original purple model (queen) and it's truly temp neutral. It doesn't cool but it doesn't heat up either which is a big improvement from my tempurpedic. Also it's firm but with some cushion in the right spots and my back has been great getting up in the morning from this mattress. I'm 6'2 and 170lbs.

I have had a bad back and muscle pain for many years. I have had a quality tempurpedic bed for the past 6 years. I bought the Purple mattress with the hope that it would be better than the mattress I already own. It was comparable. I have no problems with it but with it being about the same I intended to send it back with the 30 day guarantee. My 3 year old son took a nap on our bed and as fate would have it, wet on it. So... We are keeping the mattress! Now the mattress is very good quality. It was about 1/4 the price of our other mattress. If you are on a spring mattress or the like, buy this mattress - you will be very pleased. If you have a tempurpedic mattress already, well you might just love Purple more. That is my honest review...

I don't have any issues with the quality of the mattress, it's well made and durable. For me though, the mattress is too firm. I did not have the opportunity to lay on the mattress prior to purchasing, so I was expecting something far more "cushioned". I definitely feel the grid underneath me when laying down and it seems to be supportive, but just not what I'm looking for in a mattress. My old mattress was an iComfort with a lot of memory foam on top and a cooling gel layer as well. Sadly, I'll probably be returning this Purple mattress in search of one more similar to the iComfort I had before.
