We were so excited to get our purple bed in the mail but when it arrived our mattress was uneven. The bed is flat in the middle but curves up at the edges due to the way it was rolled up and packaged. We hoped that a few days with gravity would help it lay flat but it's been about 4 months & nothing has changed! Wish we would of brought it up to customer service when we first got it but it just didn't cross our mind. We sleep a lot better than we used to on our old mattress, BUT wish it wasn't morphed by the packaging.

...but so far it's been great. A mattress is a long term relationship though so what really matters is how I feel after a few months. So far I really do love it, but I was sleeping on garbage before. Trust me, I'll edit this review later if my opinion changes.

This was my first mattress purchase ever and I couldn't be happier! I have scoliosis so I needed a mattress that had the support I needed for my back but still comfortable. The classic Purple mattress gives me both! I also tend to run hot when I sleep, but the mattress' grid allows air flow that keeps me cool at night. I was very nervous about buying a mattress and stressed out over the decision but I can confidently say I made the right choice!

The first week or so, I woke up with a sore upper back and sore across the back of my ribs. I was surprised because when I would lie down on the mattress for bed, it felt very comfortable; firm, but not too firm. (Granted, my husband and I had traded up from our non supportive ten-year-old foam mattress, so pretty much anything was going to be firm by comparison.) After about two weeks of sleeping on our Purple mattress, the soreness subsided and I started waking up feeling great! I look forward to going to bed now and look for any excuse to sleep in! My husband and I also appreciate the fact that the mattress doesn't retain heat-especially since we live in Arizona.

For a futon mattress replacement, I'm glad to report this works wonderfully. Is it the best night's rest I've ever had? No, but I don't have any complaints. It's supportive and soft at the same time; a great balance in a mattress. I would definitely recommend this as an affordable option.

Firm, but responsive mattress. The mattress is very heavy. I hurt my back while trying to help my husband move it upstairs so I haven't been sleeping well at all. I've decided to go back to our old one. The Purple mattress is much thinner than our old mattress and that makes it a poor fit in our bed frame with head and foot boards. (I'm sure it would have been awesome in their adjustable frame.) I also found that I would wake up several times during the night and be really hot. I would have liked to have tried their sheets but I used our stretchiest ones instead. Pretty decent mattress, but just not right for me.

I was experiencing serious back pain prior to ordering our new Purple Mattress. Since we have been sleeping on it, my back pain is almost none existent. It is very comfortable. Make sure you don't use another mattress cover over the existing one. We made that mistake at first. It doesn't allow for the top layer to perform like designed. But with a simple sheet, it is amazing how well it supports you. I would highly recommend this product to anyone. Only downfall I can see. We have an adjustable bed frame. So the mattress isn't as thick as our conventional mattress So The total height is lower than the original. Thre wife doesn't like the look of it But I'm more function over form So it doesn't bother me

I am a soon to be 60 year old male. I am in reasonably good health. I do have minor back issue. These issue were the main reason why I decided to try a spring-less mattress. I am a side sleeper. When I sleep on my side on the Purple mattress I experience numbness in my hands and finger. If I sleep on my back it does not happen. The problem get worse when I use the Purple pillow that came with the mattress. I fear I will need to return the mattress and go with a conventional spring-type mattress to resolve this issue. Other than that the Purple mattress has relieved some of my back pain issues due to its design. However I don't want to trade one problem for another. Rick Bruno

After a month of no sleep, my husband and I decided this mattress is not for skinny people. We basically float on top of it. I feel like purple should have a disclaimer if you weigh under 180 or so it will be very firm. The Purple technology didn't work and mold to us. Not into firm beds, I would have been better off sleeping on the ground.

I would recommend to everyone!!!! I am a disabled Veteran and I have serious back injuries. This bed is like sleeping on a cloud. It is amazing!!! The first night was an adjustment but every night after that I have not woke up in the middle of the night and I have not woke up in pain. Thank you!!!!! I love this bed!!!
