I'm not at all happy about leaving a mediocre review but....... My wife and I will definitely concede that we are unique and have definite sleep issues. We we're so hoping that Purple would solve them but no luck. On the bright side I do believe that Purple is a quality well made sleep system for the money.. Just didn't work for us.

I had problems with my arms falling asleep and lower back pains while sleeping. I would wake up and feel horrible. It took a couple days to get used to the purple mattress, but I feel great. No pain In my back, shoulders and arms feel good. I Sleep like I should now

Very comfortable mattress! Sleeps cooler, I was able to raise my bedroom temp from 68 up to 74 degrees while sleeping. For the past 20 years, I would wake to turn every two hours on my previous mattresses. I sleep soundly on the Purple mattress for as long as six hours at a time without waking to turn! Amazing! I am very happy!

When I received, unrolled, and put my Purple mattress in place, I immediately tossed my old mattress out on the curb. The day after my first night I panicked as I was sore from head to toe. It took a good 2-3 weeks for me to adjust to my mattress. Once I added the Protector and the Sheets, there was no looking back. I will state that the sheets and probably the protector made a huge difference in the overall comfort level of temperature - meaning that even though I sleep with a fan and cool home, my regular sheets were still warmly uncomfortable. The Purple sheets are very COOL feeling and I love the stretch. Overall I am very pleased with my mattress, protector, and sheets!!

I was very pleased with the mattress the first couple of nights and then it has seemed to have lost its firmness. I had really hoped for more considering the hype and price of the mattress. I am truly hopeful that it will get better again for me, if not I hope that the 100 nights test with no hassle return and refund is just that.

My fiancé and I were buying a house together and decided to purchase a new mattress but where to begin? We knew we wanted a king sized as neither he nor I had either had one before but didn't know what kind to purchase. I saw an ad for Purple and the technology intrigued me. I watched the videos and some were quite amusing! I was intrigued by the technology and decided to purchase one. So, first of all...have 2 "strong" people be prepared to carry the rolled up mattress in the house. I wouldn't say it keeps you cool at night but yet it doesn't make me heat up like hot oatmeal like my old mattress. When you open it, make sure you observe which side is the "top-side" as it expands quickly! Fascinating! Now for the best part... the sleeping! I can say this mattress has been amazing to sleep on! My fiancé no longer has issues with the small of his back, I don't feel him get up in the middle of the night and the mattress literally cradles my body as if I'm being hugged all night long...I try to remember I have a fiancé! Lol Seriously, this has been an worthwhile purchase and we even went with the basic Purple! We both love it and feel sorry for our guests when they come over because we are always telling them about our Purple mattress!!! Remember...Purple matters!

Both my wife and I sleep great on it. The only problem it is a lot lower than we are use to sleeping, so I'm going to have to build us a frame to get it where our 80 lbs. dog isn't looking down at us in the mornings when they are ready to go out. lol

Spouse was a stomach sleeper who had surgery and has been on back and side since he had been complaining about his back and so I ordered the purple < 3 Loved the hed test was worried if firm enough for him 2 firm 4 me was not the case , grows on you.

We got the new 3 and for a month or more did t like it- got up with sore spots as I'm a side sleeper. So easily exchanged it and I am so satisfied with my 4. Love my sheets and pillow too! Had to tighten my platform up due to a squeak but truly after a sleep number and a tempepedic- I highly recommend this bed!!

We have had a Tempurpedic since day one or maybe it was like day 40 when they first came out, had to return because it failed in the 9th year, big sag=bad, bad, bad. But they were good and because our was the first model they replaced with a Supreme Luxe Cloud something or other. Have to say it was much hotter than our original and way thicker, which we could not understand. It was supposedly "cooler", NOT. So after having to buy new sheets and bedspread etc. etc. etc. it ended up about 40 % of the cost of our new Purple California King, thank you for letting us know you finally made a bed to fit our bedroom set. So we waited a long time but it was so worth the wait. Not so thick, but our stretchy sheets (we learned the 1st time) fit just fine and holy smoke it is so much more comfortable, softer but not too soft, your body still adjusts, way, way cooler, sits lower so much easier to get into and out of at night and way easier to change the linens since the sheets although stretchy were still too small and difficult to put on the bottom sheet, and one of the best parts not so doggone hard to roll over, which is an issue if you are a bit on the chubby or "robust" side, can't deny it, and last, I have noticed or rather not noticed hubby getting in and out of bed. So, to make a long story short....heaven all rolled up in a purple bag with the great squishy purple hand things and a great padded seat cushion...which, of course, I GET cause I discovered this baby and that is my reward...that is besides a great nights sleep, the best ever and affordable, since this is our Christmas gift to us. So take it from former Sealy, Stearns and Foster, and Tempurpedic mattress owners, you will not regret it and we are hoping it is our last bed. Over 65 so that is pretty much a given, so thanks PURPLE we love, love, love our new heavenly bed!!!! Merry Christmas! WAS Sleepless in Seattle. Please don't use my name but feel free to post.
