My husband and I were very skeptical at first. He likes a very firm mattress and I like super soft. Then the first couple of nights he was in heaven and I was worried and sore. Now two months later we are both in love. We have slept in a different bed once since buying it and were miserable. We will never buy a different bed again!

The replacement Purple matress protector is beter than the original mattress for us! We had experienced back pain with the original mattress. After replacing with a new Purple mattress (under warranty), the back pain was better, but not completely gone. When we started using the mattress protector, no back pain! Perfect Match!!

My wife has chronic back pain. She is 28 years old and has had 3 back surgeries for herniated/degenerative disks in her lumbar spine. All of her surgeons have recommended the next step is a fusion of her disks and at 28 years old we were very concerned. We have tried chiropractors, phisiotherapy, stretching with little relief. Much of her sciatic pain was first thing in the morning on our old mattress so I thought maybe a new mattress was in order. After much searching and reviewing, I stumbled upon the Purple Mattress and read other reviews, especially the reviews of the people with back trouble. I decided to take the plunge and order one for her. I must say, we're about 2 months of sleeping on the Purple Mattress and my wife's back pain is much MUCH less. She is no longer requiring muscle relaxers to help her get comfortable. While there is no absolute cure for her back, the Purple Mattress has most certainly contributed to her increased quality of life by decreasing her back pain.

The worst thing a company can do is listen to a customer issue, promise a call-back and then never call-back. I have called Purple's customer service about 6 or 7 times regarding their referral program and I have received a different answer each time plus a call-back promise. Never once did the company try to call back and provide a solution. Stay clear away from them because if your order is not correct or you have an issue good luck working with a company that doesn't communicate internally nor care about returning calls.

Until I tried purple I had a tempurpedic mattress for 6 years. Besides the first year, I woke up with constant back pain every morning for the past 5 years. I have spent a month now on purple and haven't woken up in pain once! It really works as they promise!

I've been sleeping on the original purple and purple sheets for about 2 weeks now. While it does sleep cooler than my old memory foam mattress, it's not great in general. Overall it feels like sleeping on a regular spring mattress. Not very comfortable. And the purple sheets are awful, they are basically spandex. At least they came free, I would've been very upset had I bought those.

My old mattress was VERY old, and I would spend every night tossing and turning. I'd wake up over and over again to try to find a comfortable position. I'd wake up feeling achy. I had researched beds for over a year before buying the Purple bed. I bought the original mattress, the pillow, and the sheets. I've had it now for about a month, and I am sleeping through every night. I used to be a side sleeper with my tossing and turning, but now I find that I am sleeping soundly on my back, barely moving, and waking up refreshed and without aches. I'm VERY happy with my new bed. (On a side note, I've read some reviews that speak about an odor. I just wanted to mention that nothing that I bought had an odor. I slept on it on the first night that I unpacked it all, and I didn't detect any foul odor.)

Now, I've done a lot of research with all these different type beds in a box/bag, on which is the best. Purple drew my attention with their Egg Test video and the sleep cool from their polymer. The Egg Test is what drew my attention the most to Purple. I work at a moving company and my body is always taking a beating and I've played many years of football through the collegiate level and I just needed something that would help relieve a lot of that stress that my body has endured and/or will be enduring from active lifestyle. The first night with my Purple mattress was a little sore, but I believe that was due to work and my body adjusting to a complete new mattress, but even then, the next morning I woke up with with a little refresh feeling in my body. After several days, I definitely noticed a difference from my body waking up more and more refreshed. It without a doubt, also sleeps very cool, which to me, is amazing due to me sleeping hot and other competitors saying that they sleep cool, but don't. I was also fortunate enough that with the purchase of my Purple mattress, I also got the mattress protector for half off (#winning). I have a dog so getting that mattress protector was an absolute must. I also purchased the bed sheets (they are amazingly soft!!) and even with the mattress protector and bed sheets, the Purple mattress sleeps with cool. The only negative, and part of me doesn't even want to consider it one since it is so minor depending on who you are, is there is a smell to the Purple mattress upon opening it up and laying it out. I'm assuming that's due to how it was packaged when put together, but the smell does go away within a couple days. On a side note, I currently have an ISO cool pillow and I used to love it a ton, but after getting the Purple mattress, my pillow, I feel, has been making my neck and shoulders sore. I don't know exactly if that's from that pillow not being able to support the way it used to with my old mattress, but I'm definitely considering the Purple pillow. I've had my Purple mattress for almost two weeks now, I absolutely love it, and would strongly recommend to anybody!

I love this mattress! It took about a week to get adjusted to sleeping on a new mattress. I now regret not buying one sooner. The mattress feels almost bouncy and doesn't leave an imprint where you were laying. Delivery was fast and set up was easy. The mattress was heavy so I did need a little help setting it up. It is delivered in a long bag and the mattress is rolled up in it. Mattress is vacuum sealed, so when you open the package and unroll it, you need to cut the vacuum seal off and watch your mattress rise.

LIKE MATTRESS, DID NOT LIKE SHEET BUT PURCHASED ON LABOR DAY WEEKEND, AND THOUGH WE WERE GETTING TWO PILLOWS. CALLED IN WAITED 20 MIN NO ANSWER AND ASKED TO BE CALLED BACK AND NEVER HEARD FROM ANYONE. BODY IS ADJUSTING TO BED ONCE PUT ON GOOD SHEET, STARTING TO LIKE, STILL FEEL PILLOWS SHOULD BE SENT TO ME.
