Our son recommended the Purple mattress having purchased one himself. I recently had spinal fusion surgery and was reticent; however, I took the plunge. The mattress is FABULOUS! In fact, my husband and I left on a road trip after sleeping on it for only 10 days and both of us wanted to roll it up and take it with us! That's serious attachment! I've recommended the mattress to two others who are in the process of purchasing their own. Am hoping for a commission or a free pillow, as is my son! We love this product!

This mattress is amazing! I was sleeping on an organic cotton new high end mattress and still having sleep issues, waking at 3am, sometimes warm, etc., but first night on our Cal King Purple and I slept a solid 8 hours and every night after! I feel awesome.

My wife and I have never slept any better. We both say each morning how great we feel after having the purple mattress for couple weeks now. Oh , did I mentioned the soft stretchy sheets ?? So comfortable. Also , get the purple pillow too, totally worth it . Thank you purple !

Purchased approx. three to four months ago..... I originally ordered the "simple" cushion for my Mom since she has back and hip problems and when my child is in an active part of the season, either running cross country, swimming or water polo, the seating provided is not kind to anyone having to sit for a lengthy amount of time. When I placed my order there was discrepancy in the county they listed me in for taxes. When I contacted customer service they kept me in the loop through the whole process of them looking into the situation. I was about return the cushion I purchased, because it was not thick enough to provide the support I had hoped it would for my Mothers issues. I contacted customer support and again they had no problems with sending me a return label. Two days later they contacted me about the original question in order, which was the county discrepancy, and said it was showing the wrong county but the taxes charged were correct. However, they took it one step further and said they were sending me another cushion. I believe it was the "Royal" cushion which was a two inch thick cushion and definitely a huge step above from the original one I purchased. Their customer service blew me away - they didn't have to do that for a simple matter of having the wrong county listed - I've never experienced that level of customer service. One day after that email my sister arrived in town and she used the original cushion during my child's swimming event and she fell in love with it. So, I once again emailed Purple back to let them know that I would be keeping the original purchase and thinking they would then go ahead and cancel the shipment of the second cushion but they did not. The second cushion arrived and it was much better for my Mom. So, on taking a chance and ordering the cheaper cushion because I was unsure if the product would work (or live up to the hype as some might say) Purple, and their cushions, made three people very happy. My sister and Mom for the cushions they received and me for the outstanding, and shocking, dedication of the company's customer service and how they stand behind their products. I know this is a long review but I felt you should know the full story to understand how rare and dedicated this company is. If you're on the fence about their product all I can say is go for it.

I'm still deciding on the entire ensemble. I got the protector, sheets, and the mattress. The mattress is a bit more firm than I normally like, but not in a bad way. Gonna give it more time to decide on good or bad. The sheets are weirdly stretchy, and can become stuck under me, but the feel of them is incredible. The sheets are sooo light, sooo soft, and sooo stretchy, it's very weird! I don't know how else to describe them. NEVER felt sheets like this before. I like them! The protector is great, it doesn't bunch up or move. It stays flat like it should..... WONDERFUL.

We tried the bed, didn't care for it. Just didn't work out for us, but might for other people. We followed the instructions & donated the bed to a local charity & sent the receipt/pickup record back to Purple. They were very responsive to my emails & issued our refund very quickly (in about 3 days). So, ,they get the 5 stars for very good customer service & for staying true to their word about getting or money back.

They say you get what you pay for. I researched mattresses of this type and style extensively and we decided on the Purple. Purple's reputation, being American made, and a youtube video of the manufacturing process ended up sealing the deal for us. My wife was having some hip and shoulder pain with our 15 year old latex foam mattress. I wasn't as affected by the old mattress, but she was hurting and it was a Queen size. We went with a Purple King size mattress which also plays into our love for this mattress. I am surprised by how soft it is, but yet is still holds my larger body in a firm way. The top layer of the patented purple stretch material in the block grid really helps soften the joints at night. It's also a cooling mattress. My wife would wake up throwing the sheets off in the middle of the night with our old Latex foam mattress. She has actually added a blanket now and isn't on fire at 3am anymore. (Of course, it is December in Michigan) The checkout process was easy. No problems whatsoever. The shipping took about a week or less. The mattress is heavy to handle in the King size model. However, when it's rolled tight, it is easier to handle than when it expands fully. We waited about 6-8 hours to sleep on it after it was fully expanded. Some mattresses say wait 24hrs, but the Purple mattress was almost instantaneous. We probably didn't have to wait the 6-8 hours. We've had the mattress for at least three weeks now and really love it. If I were to get another mattress for one of our 10 children, then I'd probably get a Purple...in a Twin or Full size. If I were to nit pick on a downside, they are hard to handle in the King size (and probably Queen size). It's like trying to move around a 175# noodle. Get a buddy to help! Overall, it's a 9.5/10. Like I mentioned earlier, you get what you pay for.

Great mattress. I have back issues that cause my fingers to go numb when I sleep and the purple mattress has brought a lot of relief. The first week was a little sore, but a good sore because things were finally able to shift to the RIGHT position. This was a fantastic investment.

I've gone from 3-4 hours of sleep to 6-7 hours of sleep. I don't toss and turn so I'm getting better quality sleep. The big bonus is I wake up, get out of bed and my body isn't stiff and sore anymore. I don't have to "walk it out" before my knees, feet and back loosen up! I should have purchased this mattress years ago! I know I'll never have another mattress but a Purple!

I did much research on mattresses and really wanted to try it. At first touch. The purple feels hard but it's really not. after a few nights I started to sleep better. I have sleep apnea so a good night sleep for me is difficult. You your partner gets out of bed you will never know it. As of now that mattress is here to stay.
