my wife and i both have back problems. mine is due to being an over the road truck driver. my wife from all the hard work she had done as a kid. our old mattress would have us slow to get out of bed and sore and achy all day. we decided to try a purple mattress and have been able to sleep comfortable ever since. we can get out of bed with less aches and pains everyday. definitely a must buy mattress in our book

I bought Purple after trying another mail order mattress which was highly rated and was memory foam promoted to sleep cool. It did not. The Purple does sleep cooler than the previous trial mattress and cooler than the standard innerspring mattress that I had previously. I could use something that is even cooler still, but in the cool department, I don't think there's anything out there that would beat Purple.

I started having hot flashes at 48. I am now 59 I've had my mattress two weeks no hot flashes at night it is so cooling. One thing I will say it was hard for me to get online to look at pillows.Wouldn't let me check out it was weird but I recommend this 200%

First off let me say Purple has the best customer service team I have ever had the pleasure of dealing with. Not only does purple make one of the most amazing products, but they also have a 5 star support team. I suffer from multiple lower back issues. I have had 2 surgeries at the age of 39 due to my stenosis, arthritis, and advanced degernative disease which gives me around the clock sciatic pain. I own my salon which means I just don't work 40 hrs a week behind a chair, I end up working all week long. When it used to come to sleeping I would dread laying down at night due to constant rolling and discomfit, but not anymore. I have slept on several high quality high cost mattresses and purple has not only designed a perfect mattress they did so that it was also cost affordable as well. If you have ever suffered from any of the above mentioned conditions I recommend you give purple a try, and seriously what do you have to lose with the Purple guarantee? No lol I do not work for purple either I'm just a very happily convinced customer. I have the original purple mattress and hope to one day try the new version just for the curiosity! I thought the memory foam portion of this mattress (that supports the grid) would be more firm. This bed sinks way more than I thought it would. I am not completely satisfied with this purchase. I am going to continue to try it out and hope for better results.

We purchased our Purple mattress for our RV after the sleeping on a new memory foam mattress for three months. We were so hot on the memory foam that we could not live with it. We sold the mattress and purchased a Purple. It arrived quickly and was so easy to set up. We could sleep on it immediately. It provides excellent support yet provides enough "cush" to prevent pain from a too-firm mattress. My husband has joint pain and I have back issues. This mattress has been wonderful for both. I love that there are no real pressure points anywhere on the my body. My skin burns on most mattresses from too much pressure. After sleeping on this mattress for a month I give it an A+.

If you are looking for a bed with a pillowtop feel, this is not it. If you are looking for a bed that is amazing on your back, this is what you should get. I've looked into the other brands, Casper, leesa, tuft and needle, helix, etc. But none of them or the people really talk about why the bed is better. What makes that memory foam different than the other? Idk and I don't think they do either. So that's why Purple stood out to me. I've heard a lot from my friends about their memory foam beds and how hot they get. My husband gets hot, and I get cold. That wouldbe horrible for us. Hence also why I was looking for another kind of bed. Purple became that bed. The gel top design was fascibating to me. It doesn't get hot but is firm enough to cradle your body. I recently had hurt my back and got diagnosed with arthritis in my lower back due to a slip disk I had a couple years back. Let me repeat it is not a pillowtop, it doesn't feel like a cloud. But it holds and supports you in an the right places. It does not put any strain on any bit of my back and lets me wake up refreshed and pain free. My husband loves it as well because he doesn't get hot anymore. And the moment our dogs laid down.. They have gotten more than comfortable and stay in bed whenever they have access. Highly recommend it.

I am loving this mattress! I was disappointed at first, it felt too firm and I was seriously considering sending it back. I then read on the website that you need to give your body time to adjust to it. I am so glad I did! It is the most comfortable mattress I have ever owned! I have tried a waterbed, several air beds, box spring mattresses, you name it. This mattress is amazing! It seems to get more soft and comfortable every day! Thank you Purple! P.S. I used the waterbed frame from my previous mattress, the Purple Mattress fit in it beautifully!

I have been fighting lower back and hip pain for almost 14 years. The beds that I have found where I can sleep decent through the night-granted I'm still have to take some kind of pain reliever twice a day for back pain, cortisone injections in my hips ect.-leave my husband with aching shoulders and the beds that give him a comfortable night sleep leave me in debilitating pain. After spending countless hours reading reviews we decided on a Purple. It took about two weeks to get here and the first night was very strange. I didn't get much sleep mostly because I wasn't use to lying so flat. I don't know how else to describe it but it just feels like you are flat. We have had the purple for about a month now and I can honestly say I am almost completely pain free! I don't even take pain relievers any more and have no need for the cortisone injections any more. My husband hasn't complained once about shoulder pain either. The last month has given me some of the best sleep I've had in 14 years. It is also much cooler than the memory foam mattress we came from. I HIGHLY recommend the Purple to anyone looking for pain relief and a great night sleep.

My wife has been complaining of back pain.We bought 3 mattress previously, trying to fix her back pain.They were okay for me but didn't help her at all. After about 3 weeks of sleeping on the Purple mattress, the complaining stopped. We are both really happy to be have found the right mattress. I would recommend to friends and family.
