I did my homework, I watched all the You Tube video's, and read all the reviews. I was so excited to get rid of my old bed and get something great! So, I could sleep like a baby. Unfortunately this was not the case. Right off the bat I woke up with a stiff back and tight mussels. The paper that came with the bed said it can take up to three weeks for our back to adjust to the new bed. Well before the three weeks were up I had to visit my Chiropractor hoping this would help me adjust to the purple mattress. It did help, but I have still stiffness in my back. I willing to give it a little bit longer, but if I keep waking up with a stiff back I will have to return it. I wanted to wait a little longer to give a review, but I have had it over a month. I give this bed three stars because my wife says the bed is fine for her.

I have to admit I am a bed snob. As my husband likes to remind me, he can sleep anywhere and be fine, I am the picky one. I hate waking up with a back ache and I have for most of my adult life. I've had many types of beds and some days/nights are better then others. So, when we needed a new bed we bought the purple bed. My thoughts.... the purple bed does sleep cool which is huge for my pre-menopausal night sweats. There is a transition period which I just don't understand, but as time has gone by I am more pleased with our purchase. I read several reviews that talked about shoulders going numb. I also experienced that as well. However, it has seemed to stop. I hope it doesn't return as it was a very strange sensation and not one I have experienced before. All in all I am very happy with this bed. But it has only been a month. Give me the full 100 days before I completely jump on the band wagon.

I've been married for five years and the mattress my wife and I purchased when we met always hurt my back so after a couple hours I would end up on the couch every night and it really was putting a strain on my marriage. Since purchasing this mattress I've had no problems staying asleep longer and making it through the night in bed. Definitely recommend this mattress. Well worth the money.

I've wanted this mattress ever since I saw the Goldilocks ad about 2 years ago, I was finally able to pull the trigger and I was not disappointed at all, better than I could have ever imagined! I truly feel like I have more energy throughout the day due to getting a proper nights sleep finally! Thank you so much purple!!

CONS...Because we are sleeping so soundly we are no longer waking up in the middle of the night and putting onTalk Radio to get back to sleep. Because of this we are possibly missing some interesting programming. Even though we have no proof we suspect this mattress has been impregnated with Ambien. We notice we are prone to oversleeping with the Purple! PROS... Seriously, we are sleeping and waking up without the hip or shoulder pain that had been a problem on our old spring mattress. Overall we love it.

I've tried just about every kind of mattress out there. I suffer with chronic back pain from scoliosis. This mattress is like a breath of fresh air. It's soft enough to give where I need it to give, yet firm enough that I don't sink into a hole of "mattress quicksand". It's easy to roll over and change sleeping positions. Loving this mattress!

I kept saying I was going to give a 1 star review to the Purple mattress claiming it has "ruined traveling for me," which it kind of has. I am writing this review the morning after my 5th night on vacation. The twinges and pains in my lower back have reminded me of a time before my wife and I purchased the Purple mattress for our home. This prompted me to finally write a review, but I just couldn't bring myself to give that 1 star review. I love the mattress! No more back pain for me, and I am a dentist which is a field known for having back pain. Mine started slightly while I was still in school, but now 15 years later (as long as I'm sleeping in my own bed at home), none. The ladies I work with roll their eyes when one of my patients mentions sleep, because they know I'm going to start telling them all about the Purple mattress and the Purple pillow to help with TMJ pain. This is getting long (I could keep going for lots longer), but I'll close with this, I am currently looking at one of the most picturesque views of the ocean you can imagine, and I'm longing to be home so that I can once again sleep on my Purple mattress. Idea: Someone starts a chain of Purple hotels! Or at least offers "Purple rooms". I'd pay more per night to stay and sleep there.

Quality of their product has plummeted as their demand has grown. The bed and stand I bought three years ago fast exceeds the workmanship and designs of the new one I just paid more for this fall. When I reached out they have me a very blah response and I felt like they didn't care. Mattress so thin you can feel the stand they sell for it... and the stand was literally dangerous with bad welding resulting in very sharp edges... Very surprising because the last purchase I made with them was my favorite bed of all time...

Purple has incredible customer service! Also, Purple demonstrates a commitment to bettering the world by donating mattresses to charity if a customer doesn't want the mattress after trying it out. If you deciding whether to try the mattress out or not, do not hesitate! It is completely risk free and most people love it!

We have had this matress for 2 months now we financed it thru Purple with the intent we would return it. It sounded to good to be true all the reviews were very high and I could not believe a bed could be so comfortable. We were wrong, this bed is amazing, we have truly learned you can sleep all night and without back pain in the morning. Best investment we have ever made. sheets even feel like silk with a strechy feel. I will be purchasing the pillow next after reading tthose reviews.
