I enjoy sleeping in the Purple mattress, especially, the grid in the top part of it. My major complain is that the lower layers of the mattress seems to be so compact that adds a lot of unnecessary weight that should be very light with all the empty spaces in the upper grid. So that, good luck when you have to lift it! :(:(

I've always had a bit of a rough back and my shape laid out on a mattress just seemed to be getting worse through the years so I decided to treat myself to something new, I saw this mattress advertised and decided to start looking at reviews. Almost immediately the cooling air flow design and comfort grid design got the attention of me and my partner, living in Florida the idea of a mattress that would help us stop sweating sounded amazing and I've got the say the experience is the same, not once have I had the gross cold puddle of sweat below me in this bed that I became accustomed to through the humid summers. The mattress by itself is amazing, it's feels firm but as you lay on it you can feel your pressure points start to sink a bit, the design really does seem to hold your body at the flat 180 while allowing the shoulder blades and rear to sink to a comfortable (yet firmly held) depth. It's definitely worth mentioning that the mattress is incredibly accommodating, I'm used to being rolled around the bed as my partner were to get in or out of the bed and it's become weird now waiting to feel them get into bed and next thing I know they're right next to me, the bed really really doesn't seem affected by any movements to it in other areas, I can say for certain (not that you should do this) it's very easy to just balance a soda can on the bed and get in or out without knocking it over. Long story short it's really comfortable and accommodating and we're yet to find a single complaint, it also just looks pretty and is delivered pretty and you're in for a good time!

This was the first bed purchase I have ever made (Yay for adulting) and i do not regret it! My prior mattresses have all been spring, and I can't tell you how amazing my sleep has been without having to feel springs against my sides. The mattress is a little firmer than I anticipated, but that could be because of my previous well-used mattress. Overall I am extremely happy, and am able to get out of bed in the morning because I am actually sleeping well through the night.

I have to say that Purple mattress is one of the best companies that I have ever dealt with. Not only is their mattress well made but it's comfort is honestly unbelievably great! Their power platform is quiet, sturdy and very well made. I have for years slept on a mattress that has destroyed my body. When people say that sleeping on a Purple mattress is like sleeping on a cloud it is absolutely true. I had a couple of slight issues with ordering and delivery but Purple went above and beyond to make sure that I was a satisfied customer...they did more than was necessary without me even asking...like I said...above and beyond. Definitely, choose Purple for your mattress and then buy Purple accessories. I don't think that you'll regret it.

I'm a very hot sleeper, and I have had problems with my lower back and knees. In a regular mattress I would wake up most nights with night sweats and joint pain. My Temperpedic did okay to handle my joints, but I still suffered from night sweats, and I had the mattress model with the cooling top. After researching Purple extensively, I gave it a try. True to their word, my Purple mattress disipates the heat my body gives off all night long. I have never had a single night sweat since I switched. What's more, my Purple mattress is more comfortable and offers even better support than my Temperpedic. It was also a third of the price and one size larger. To me buying the Purple Mattress was kind of a leap of faith, it was as much as twice a expensive as some of its competitors, but reviews were overall good. I am a combat vet and i have back problems, and i specifically read a review from another combat vet who said this mattress basically cured his back problems. Well, the mattress was ok for about a year... then my side started sinking. I am 200- 215lbs and 6'2, so i am neither a giant fatty nor super dense, probably about normal proportionally, and the rubber where i sleep has lost ALL support and is now CAUSING back problems. The warranty is borderline fraudulent because when i finally thought "i should check the warranty" it says that the depression in the bed must sag at keast 1" without any weight- that isnt how the purple mattress works. The bed LOOKS flat, but when i lay anywhere else i only drop about an inch, whereas in the hole that i sleep in i drop probably 2- 2.5" and have no support at all. I also got the purple pillows, which imho suck, and the purple blanket, which we actualy returned. The best thing i got from purple were the sheets- they were quite good.

First few nights I was like, "it's okay", but then the more I sleep in it the more I like it. I used to have these random pillows that I thought were too soft and didn't support my back, but the mattress has made my old pillows better. Customer service was awesome to work with, too. Definitely an interesting feel - side/back = soft and supportive, but if you sleep on your stomach the bed feels pretty firm!

I wanted to love this mattress but it is simply not comfortable. I have slept on it for almost a month and have lower back pain every morning. I have read that it may not be a good match for people under 150 pounds which I am. Hopefully the return process is as easy as advertised.

So far mattress is great. The only reason I am not clicking 5 stars right now is that I am not 100% sure that after some length of time there could be body impressions/mattress sinking in/compressing, etc... I am hoping the mattress will stay true to its form over time and not sink like all the other mattress's I have owned. If you have any data on durability I would like to be updated. Otherwise it sleeps really great. Thanks Purple!

I have had back and neck problems for 13 years now. I have tried 6 different mattresses over that time, trying to find something comfortable. I was excited to try purple since it it so different than anything else out there. The first night I could only lay on it 30 minutes until my back was killing me. I was discouraged but tried it again the next night and it has felt wonderful ever since! So it does take some getting used to. I don't think there is another mattress out there that is as comfortable for side sleeping. I have had absolutely no neck pain and my shoulder just sinks in allowing my neck to be in the perfect position but still very supportive for my back. My husband and I both love it!
