To me buying the Purple Mattress was kind of a leap of faith, it was as much as twice a expensive as some of its competitors, but reviews were overall good. I am a combat vet and i have back problems, and i specifically read a review from another combat vet who said this mattress basically cured his back problems. Well, the mattress was ok for about a year... then my side started sinking. I am 200- 215lbs and 6'2, so i am neither a giant fatty nor super dense, probably about normal proportionally, and the rubber where i sleep has lost ALL support and is now CAUSING back problems. The warranty is borderline fraudulent because when i finally thought "i should check the warranty" it says that the depression in the bed must sag at keast 1" without any weight- that isnt how the purple mattress works. The bed LOOKS flat, but when i lay anywhere else i only drop about an inch, whereas in the hole that i sleep in i drop probably 2- 2.5" and have no support at all. I also got the purple pillows, which imho suck, and the purple blanket, which we actualy returned. The best thing i got from purple were the sheets- they were quite good.

I am a side sleeper and had a pillow top firm mattress. That left my hips and shoulders very sore waking me during the night. I have only been sleeping on the Purple mattress a few weeks but I noticed that I am not have the issues I used to. Also, I think it's important to let you know that I am 64 years old so should an old hippie be reading the review, it seems good for us old _arts.

The first night my wife never slept better...over slept her alarm which NEVER happens. I on the other hand never slept worse. I knew they said it could take 30 days to feel better. One week later I was sleeping like a baby and we BOTH love our new Purple mattress.

I bought a king Purple mattress and have slept on it for about a month now. It is a different feel than a normal coil mattress for sure. The collapsing edge is unusual and it feels harder than I expected. My back hurts sometimes when I wake up, which was the problem I was trying to correct, so I'm not yet decided on keeping or returning it.

Right at first the mattress helped my aching back, but Before a year was even up I felt the body impressions and was not getting the sleep I had before. Now after two years and rotating the bed, I'm back to aching body and sleeping numb arms. The 10 year warranty isn't very promising, some how you have to prove the indention upto a certain depth. How can you prove that unless you are laying in it. The material springs back after you are out of it.

I really liked your mattress And I wanted it to work for me but it just was not firm enough and I still sunk in too far and woke up with a sore back. However I have still told everyone about you because other people would love it and do and I love that you donate the mattresses to someone in need.

Ordered a queen but got a full! We love the matress! They were quick to get the right size out to us. We also got the frame and love that too. Only thing we didn't like was they would not let us purchase the full matress accidentally sent to us at a reduced rate rather they had 100 got junk pick it up. Which was horrible because they tried to charge us for it. We still love our purple and will upgrade to a king once we get a bigger place and hope they get it right the first time.

Pros: my wife loves the bed and sleeps better than she has in a long time. No cratering the middle to fall into. Quiet and temperature neutral. Cons: I still haven't adjusted to the bed yet after about three weeks. I wake up with minor stiffness and soreness.

So basically: 100% worth it. I had pretty awful sleep issues, from grinding my teeth at night to just incessant tossing and turning due to numbness from my sleeping position and pressure in my back and neck. I liked to sleep on my belly to compensate for the discomfort, but having to turn my neck to breathe put my shoulders and neck out of place, causing me to wake up with a stiff neck, jaw, and back almost every morning. When I first got the bed, I couldn't fall asleep! I was like half excited half in disbelief at the way my body felt...like I had less weight, almost no gravity or something. I don't really know but NOW, folks you heard it here, its the BEST NIGHTS' SLEEPS YOU'LL NEVER REGRET HAVING. I can't imagine going back to something that isn't that magical polymer. So happy with my purchase. I say good only because I'm so broke I can't buy from you again in the near future (I bought pretty much e'rythang ya need; bed, foundation, sheets, pillow), and because I didn't measure myself before buying and I'm taller than the mattress so I'm kinda just like a hot dog on a cuddly bun that's just a lil too short. Still happy tho. I'm a happy dog.

I was initially drawn to the mattress ad by the name "Purple." TCU is my school's color. So I researched further and was intrigued by the design of the mattress. I needed a new twin on my side of our queen size bed. Pretty scary buying a mattress online but I did it. Really, really pleased. I sleep like a rock...no real tossing and turning. Shoulders and arms used hurt and get numb at night...not anymore. I would definitely tell anyone to give Purple a try. Go TCU Frogs!!!!
