My mattress was scheduled to be delivered on Monday, which happened to be my trash day. Delivery notification said it was on the truck, so I threw my current mattress out! At 8pm delivered changed to the next day! Not fun sleeping on the couch!!!! Once delivered, we really like the mattress so far!! Very comfortable. I guess one night of miserable sleeping is ok if the rest of my nights with my new mattress will be good!

I bought the queen size, base level mattress for use on a platform bed. So far, after two months of sleeping on it, I have zero complaints. It is very supportive, cool and comfortable. The purple grid can be felt, but it is very soft and very flexible and causes no discomfort at all. Highly recommend for heavier, 250lbs+, side and back sleepers. It's a relatively inexpensive way to get a great night sleep with no hassle, easy delivery and returns. The one negative thing is unwrapping it. Holy plastic wrap, Batman! Granted, it's fairly easy to carry up stairs and get into position, but unwrapping it in a small bedroom takes some creativity.

I really wanted to love this mattress and I was really excited to get it. However, it was super disappointing. I got the original 2" mattress and maybe I'm just used to thicker mattresses but this almost felt like I didn't even have a mattress. Additionally, if you plop down on the bed, with anymore force than just laying down softly, you can feel the platform underneath. Also, I hated feeling the grid while I was laying it. This is not a cozy mattress. I did not get into bed and feel cozy on this mattress. Also, my body was SO SORE sleeping on this. I literally woke up with pain through my back and shoulders. Customer service says "you're supposed to get used to it" before you don't wake up sore anymore. That just seems counter intuitive. Why would you have to get used to a mattress that is supposed to be good for you body!? That being said, the customer service is great and they have at least been very cooperative on my return. And this is the first mattress that I have experienced that actually does sleep cool.

The Purple mattress is not like other foam or innerspring mattresses. The extra soft compliant upper layer makes it ideal for this 6'2", 220 lb. side sleeper. My hip and shoulder are cradled by the squishy layer and don't contact the underlying foam. I believe the special stretchy Purple mattress cover and bottom fitted jersey knit sheet are key to the mattress' performance in this regard. OTOH, the matching jersey top sheet will attempt to strangle you in your sleep when you roll over so I use a standard cotton one instead!

For the past few years I had been waking up sore and achy. My sleep was never restful with lots of tossing and turning throughout the night. Within a week of receiving our new Purple, my husband and I noticed we felt better, we weren't as tired, and our bodies didn't ache at all!! My husband's snoring which could often be heard throughout the house is now as quite as a cat purring! It's no lie when I say this mattress has improved my life! My new favorite thing to do is towatch movies in bed! Thank you for an amazing product!!!!!!!

My wife and I most recently owned a mid-grade pillow-top spring mattress from a name brand. After only 5 years it had simply grown so uncomfortable that we felt as tired when we awoke as we did when we went to sleep. With The Purple Mattress I'm able to sleep on my back through the night for the first time since I was a child. I've been tossing and turning for years. The Purple Mattress has made a huge difference in recovering during the night. I asked my wife if she would even consider returning it, and she said absolutely not. My wife and I have never slept any better. We both say each morning how great we feel after having the purple mattress for couple weeks now. Oh , did I mentioned the soft stretchy sheets ?? So comfortable. Also , get the purple pillow too, totally worth it . Thank you purple !

After sleeping on a Tempurpedic for about 10 years, it turned into a rock over time. So, I set out seeing what else I could find to replace it. I have a friend with a Purple mattress and she said it was the best sleep ever, so I figured I knew someone who could vouch for this product and I bought the king size. It's been a little over a month and I will say it is a slight improvement over my Tempurpedic- but my back still kills me in the morning when I get out of bed. The biggest improvement is that this bed sleeps a lot cooler and that is really noticable in super-humid Florida. There is a slightly noticable differnce in pressure points when sleeping on my side, but not to any life-altering degree. The majority of this bed is actually foam, and maybe if the hyper-elastic polymer was double the thickness the bed would be something remarkable. Out of curiosity, I did get a raw egg and step on it (with the mattress protector on), lay on it, sit on it- didn't break! But alas, my back is still killing me and I still toss and turn a lot. Oh well. I'm keeping it for the coolness factor since at least I'm not sweating to the oldies all night long.

We love this mattress. My wife has RA. No mattress was every good enough. I did all my research. On the first day she got relief from he joints after suffering for years .i loved it myself. The technology behind is wonderful. We are purple people for life .

My Purple mattress marked a before and an after in my sleeping ways. It is the most comfortable thing I have ever laid my body on, and I never want to sleep anywhere other than my own room now that I have this baby. Thank you guys at Purple, you rock!!!
