Before getting the Purple my wife and I had a 12 year old Serta. I'd get occasional hip pain in bed maybe once or twice a week, and since it was so old we got a new mattress (queen size purple) with the purple brand stretchy sheets. We've had the mattress for over a month now. The first week on it was great, but since then I wake up with a very stiff lower back and pain along the side of my back (even when using the purple brand sheets and also with standard sheets). The pain goes away almost immediately once I stand up and take a few steps, but it's very uncomfortable while I'm in bed. I'm a side sleeper and it almost feels like my hips sink so much lower than my shoulders that my lower spine curves downwards and I'm laying on a decline or something. I weigh 160 pounds for what that's worth. I also tried sleeping with a pillow between my legs and that doesn't help. On the other hand, my wife loves it and has no pain, so we're keeping it, and I'm just hoping I'll get used to it, but after so many weeks it doesn't seem like I will. So, 50% stars for 50% satisfaction seems appropriate.

I had some shipping problems, notified customer service and was helped immediately. I absolutely love my purple mattress, pillow, back cushion, and butt cushion. I splurged a little and got some goodies in this order and do not regret it. It has helped alleviate back pains each morning, keep me cool, and is amazingly comfortable.

I'm a sucker for marketing. I'm kind of the ideal consumer; my psychology is extremely basic. So naturally, I've wanted a Purple mattress since Goldilocks revealed the egg test to me. A few weeks ago, I finally decided it was time. I purchased my basic purple mattress, checked out online, and waited not even long enough for me to be anxious. They promised me a tracking number but I didn't get to even check the status because my mattress was already at my door, conveniently rolled with handles. I put it on my bed, wrestled with it for a little bit, and voila! It inflated and I had a mattress! I later found the instructions and the cutting tool that would've made the already simple setup even easier. Then I got on the bed. And I did not get up. It was insanely comfortable and I could FEEL it correcting my posture and aligning my spine in this sort of Nirvana state of ecstasy that I've never before experienced. And what's even better is that it DIDN'T HEAT UP. My body is a furnace that usually has a matttress reciprocate it's heat until the entire building has reached a homeostasis of raging inferno. Now, my black cat and I both lay down-ON THIS MATTRESS-to cool off. I can not recommend Purple enough. They're really good at advertising, but even better at making mattresses.

We are very happy we decided to purchase the Purple after contemplating others. It is the perfect amount of form for us. I love the texture on the mattress which adds to the comfort. Extremely pleased and will definitely purchase again. Excellent communication during the purchase and shipping process.

I'd like to give a good review but the time it took when I ordered to the time I received everything and had a bed to sleep on was way too long. Took almost a week to even process my order and almost two weeks after to have the stand delivered. Nights are a lot longer on an air mattress.

When we first received the purple mattress, it was super comfy. A couple days later, I fell asleep on our old mattress, and woke up with my body aching. We have now gotten rid of the old mattress we had! I sleep sooooo well on the purple mattress. I always wake up feeling good. My husband is also completely satisfied with it as well. We bought 2 twin beds to try out before we give them to our kids while we are renovating their bedroom. So when that's done, we will be purchasing a queen because we love it so much! Fyi, my husband still uses a regular pillow, but I have fallen in LOVE with the purple pillow as well.

Really love this mattress. It provides support without any pain. It is like you are floating on the bed. Also feels cooler than a regular or memory foam mattress. Love that the material instantly goes back to the regular shape as you move unlike memory foam which takes time to puff back up. Overall I am a fan and when the time comes I will go to Purple first again!

Been about a month since I started sleeping on this bed. I would say this is the most comfortable bed I've sleep on. I'm a big guy 6-3, 315lbs and I fit well on my twin bed.. Going to order the head board and pillow next. I would recommend this bed to other big guys. Also, it is an easy bed to assemble and would be easy to move from house to house if you are the moving type of oerson

We've had these mattresses for 3 weeks. We purchased 2 twin XL original purple mattresses ( we have 2 twin XL adjustable bases) they replaced 7 year old tempurpedic mattresses. My husband loves it. I'm still trying to decide. The good for me - my hips and shoulders aren't sore and stuff in the morning and I can roll over/change positions without having to sit up first. It also feels cosier when I lay down at night ( the tempurpedic didn't have this). The cons for me - it's too cool ( this is the best part for my husband) it's ok if I heat it up first with a heating blanket, I am considering a heated mattress cover in low. I also end up sleeping on my back which is weird, I've never been a back sleeper, but something I think I can get used to. Husband is a stomach sleeper and Still is in this mattress. Also, when the head of my mattress is up (i have GERD) the mattress doesn't feel right, you lose support because your weight is pressing down at an angle to the structure of the grid and it almost feels like I'm slipping. I lowered the head of my bed and added water to my water pillow and that has worked so far. The test will be when I'm having an esophageal flare up. Anyway, I know we Will keep muy Husband's, but I'll give mine some more time ( and a heated mattress cover!) delivery was fast and set up was super easy.

I like the bed very much. My only problem is it's hot..I even bought the purple sheets. Still hot. I spoke to customer service 3 times. No help there. I bought this one because it says it keeps you cool. NOT COOL. I guess it's up to me to figure it out. I give the bed a 9 out of 10 score. Customer Service, maybe a 1.
