I wish this mattress was softer than it is advertised. It's OK at supporting my pressure points, but it still supplies a good amount of pressure to my shoulders. I'm a side sleeper, so this makes it rather uncomfortable. I'm obviously able to sleep at night, but I wish it was softer and more comfortable for the money you are paying for this mattress. Just because it is a novel technology does not mean it is better than memory foam.

Only had the mattress for a couple months and my lower back pain as decreased so much. The discomfort I feel now is most due to chronic issues and lack of stretching. I was amazed when I was able to get out of bed without grunting from the struggle, it would hurt so bad. Loves it

I LOVE this mattress. I am writing a review simply because my husband is tired of hearing me say "I love this mattress, this was a good purchase." I was really hesitant to buy a mattress I had never tried before. I probably spent 4 weeks researching mattresses before finally deciding to buy purple. I am a side sleeper, 140lbs, 5ft tall, female with hips. Pros: - I don't wake up in pain anymore. I used to wake up stiff and in pain. My hips ached my back was tight and my shoulders were killing me. I'm 30, guys. I felt like I was 70. - I don't wake up my husband in the middle of the night. We had an inner spring mattress before. Every time one of us moved we would wake the other up. Neither of us were sleeping. There is very little motion transfer in this mattress. In fact, any motion transfer we are getting now is from the frame, not the mattress. - I'm not in pain. There is such a huge value in this that I feel like I need to say it twice. I was in so much pain before. It took me about 4 weeks of sleeping on purple to recover from the damage that my last mattress did. I am getting restorative, healing sleep on purple. - I don't feel like my back is bowing when I lay on my side. I have hips and when I would lay on my side, my spine would collapse down towards the mattress, which was probably where a lot of my pain was coming from. That doesn't happen when I sleep on purple. - No smell at all when we opened it Notes: - It's really heavy. I'm not sure that I could have gotten it upstairs by myself if it was a king or a queen. (we bought two twins pushed together to make a king) - It is firmer than I expected. But it's very comfortable. I was expecting it to feel squishy or something. But when you first lay on it it feels like a firm mattress. - You CAN feel the little squares of the top layer. This doesn't bother me. And most of the time I don't notice it. I would think of it like the egg carton style toppers. You can feel those too, but that doesn't make them uncomfortable. - It slides around a little bit on the frame (we have the purple frame too). This is easily fixed with an old yoga mat or anti-skid rug liner

I have purchased two mattresses in recent months. The first is a Leesa and the second is a Purple. Both were highly reviewed and comparable in price (Purple was slightly more). I find the Leese slightly more comfortable. I find the Purple a little cooler to sleep on. Both provide a comfortable sleep. I do have a suggestion that I believe is important. I live by myself. Moving items - large items - is a challenge. The Leesa arrive in a box with handles about 1/3 of the way down the box (similar to a clothes pac moving box). While it is heavy, it is possible for a single person to place their hands in the holes (handles and carry the box to the desired location to unpack). The Purple mattress package has two handles near the end of each of a plastic tube. It is impossible to lift the king mattress by a single individual by grabbing the handles because you can't get enough leverage on it. it requires two people to move it otherwise you drag it (which is what I did). This may seem like a minor thing, but it was an unpleasant experience and I felt like I was "fighting" the mattress to get it into a downstairs bedroom. More importantly, this is the first experience with the mattress. I enjoy the mattress and would recommend it to someone else, but I would strongly encourage you to rethink the package and think about from the perspective of a single homeowner.

I've had chronic back pain for years and my sleep apnea was really starting to scare my wife. After one month with our purple mattress, I haven't stopped breathing in my sleep once, and my back pain is so much better. While a touch of neck pain persists from time to time, that should soon be remedied by trading out my old feather pillow for a purple one.

The first two nights were definitely a different sleep experience a little on the hard side but waking up with no back pain blew my mind and is making my days 1000× better! I'm now excited to climb into bed every night and rave to all my buddy's about how life changing this mattress has been for me. Give this mattress a chance, you won't be sorry.

My best friend recommended Purple Bed. After sleeping on his for a night and testing it out, I was sold. I recently made a big move for work and was in the market for a new bed. While I was skeptical to make such a big investment, I can honestly say this was one of the smartest purchases I've ever made. Statistics say you spend 1/3 of your life in your bed-so why not make it a comfortable bed? I am so happy with my Purple Mattress. It makes waking up for work in the morning hard. I would like to note, I did extensive research on other competitors before making my purchase. Purple, hands down, was the best value for the money.

This mattress is excellent when it comes to finding a mattress that is both comfortable and offers the right amount of support. I bought this because it was different than the other mattresses but also because it said it slept cooler. It is not much of a difference in temp than my old pillow top mattress. All in all, I like the mattress but I don't think it's worth the price. I think it's more worth somewhere around $600.00, and the sheets we got with it are great as well but I still don't think I'm getting what I paid for.

And polyurethane foam has a TERRIBLE chemical smell, it is toxic no matter what stamp of approval it has, especially people with chemical sensitive systems, you basically lie in your commercial saying we do not use memory foam but you do use foam, chemical toxic polyurethane foam is as bad, as offgassing as any other foam. Look at your reviews you have slot of COMPLAINTS about terrible smell but because people are desperate to sleep and you may have one component that is ok they put up with smell not understanding that this toxic smell will make them sick whether they smell it or not. Shame on you and a whole lot of other companies using garbage and lying

My husband had been looking into your mattress for awhile. We bought a new house two months ago and ditched our old mattress. I was skeptical due to the price and ordering online, but I'm so glad he convinced me!! I'll never go back to a traditional mattress!! We've both slept better and my back pain as gone down so much!!!
