I love this bed, my sleep quality has definitely improved. The first week or so was an adjustment as this doesn't feel like a normal bed. I was a little restless especially the first two nights but as I adjusted, my sleep improved. I also got a seat cushion!!! I love that thing, if it wasn't so heavy and big, I'd bring it to the coffee shop :D

We purchased a queen Purple mattress and bed frame. Every morning I wake up and just do not want to get out of bed because I am so comfortable. My bed is my new happy place! We also love the height of the bed frame. Since we don't need a box spring with it, we have so much more space for storage under our bed. An added plus is that our cats can walk under without having to bend down or crawl. I think they like this perk. All around, these were both great purchases. I'm grateful we made the jump every day!

So I've slept on my Purple Mattress for about 30 days now. I can honestly say it's the most freaking comfortable mattress I have ever slept on! I don't wake up stiff and I feel like I get deeper sleep with less tossing and turning. I feel like I fall asleep faster and stay asleep longer than with my old mattress. One of my absolute favorite parts is how cool the mattress stays. I have 2 small dogs that burrow under the covers to sleep with me. I used to get hot with them under there and it would wake me up. I have not once had an issue with them sleeping under the covers right next to me and waking up sweaty and hot. I highly recommend the Purple!

Bed took a bit long to ship. I believe about 3 weeks. My husband liked bed immediately as he has a bad back. However I felt it was too hard. Honestly I tossed and turned all night never being able to get comfortable. We had to return. Process was easy as we donated to Salvation Army. Return was credited within hours of submitting receipt. We had to order 2 twins from another company that offered a softer alternative for me.

This is probably going to be the longest review Purple has ever received, but I want to start from the beginning with my experience because I relied heavily on the reviews of other people before making the "life-choice" of what mattress to purchase. I knew what I wanted in a mattress; support for my lower back and to never experience "the dip" - which so commonly occurs with every single mattress out there - ever again. I had a memory foam mattress before I bought my Purple mattress. On a day-to-day basis, I do not have any back pain. I only had lower back pain in the morning so long as I was in bed for longer than 6 hours, which would slowly dissipate the more I got up and started to move around. Before my memory foam mattress, I had a typical 'spring' mattress. I bought the memory foam mattress because I thought it was what I needed to help with my lower back pain that I had from the spring mattress. Since that mattress was a hand-me-down, it goes without saying that 'the dip' was deep enough to lose a whole body! So, in short, I've had lower back pain for around 10 years now, all from a mattress. I was ready to take the step and spend my beloved, hard-earned money on a new mattress, but which one?! My parents have a Sleep Number and they hate it, I didn't want another memory foam mattress, I was steering VERY clear of a spring mattress, which then led me right to Purple. As I said before, I read review after review. The final review I read is what 'sold' me. A Veteran who had seen and done it all for the love of his country (Thank you for your service) had MANY body aches, as I am sure you can imagine. He talked about having back pain and how, on the very first night, he woke up the next morning with no pain. "WOW! It's a "magic mattress"!", I thought. He also stated in his review that he bought the whole kit-n-kaboodle; the pillow, the sheets, the mattress protector, and of course, the mattress. I, however, only bought the mattress and the sheets - which are the most amazing bed sheets I've ever owned. Amongst my research, I saw a few reviews that said that it could take a few nights, weeks or even months for your body to get used to the mattress. Ok, makes sense. So, here I go...I make "the purchase", I do some hard core Fed Ex stalking and then ALAS! It's finally here! (side note: I read reviews that warned that this mattress was heavy and that you need two people to move this. Me, being stubborn and very independent, laughed at the warnings. I am here to tell you, this sucker is HEAVY! You most certainly need two people.) Fast forward a month and a half, I still wake up with back pain every morning however, it's not as bad. It's very disheartening spending such a large sum of money (to me, this is a large sum) to not have "the magic" work. Yes, I know, this isn't a magical mattress, but I at least expected to sleep in bed longer than 6 hours at a time. I told everyone I know about this mattress because I was SO excited. Since it's been a month and a half, they're now asking me how I like it. Here's the truth, I don't know! When I lay down at night, I love it. When I wake up in the morning, I am disappointed. Someone said, "maybe it's your pillow". So, my next step is to purchase their original Purple Pillow and hope for the best. Due to just buying a house and buying a mattress, the funds aren't readily available to do so for a while yet. I know the mattress comes with a 100 night trial period, but I honestly don't want to get rid of it because what am I going to purchase instead? (see aforementioned stipulations above) Time will tell, I suppose. Until then, sleep well my friends!

Definitely worth the money. Extremely comfortable. I felt an immediate decrease in back pain throughout the day. Really hard to get out of the bed. My only small criticism is shipping was not the best. Bed was supposed to arrive on a Saturday and it ended up arriving the following Friday. It still took only 2 weeks ish, so really fine, but I would have been happier if that was the original estimated delivery date, instead of getting my hopes up almost a week early. Still overall, as comfortable as I was hoping for. Excellent investment! (Also I'm a side/stomach sleeper. But I've also passed out on my back in this bed because there's no uncomfortable position!)

I slept on my first Purple as a guest this summer. The owner had just finished outfitting the guest apartment and Purple was there. I slept all night, (unheard of), was cool and comfortable (never happened before) and I could not wait to try it again the following night. The Purple sheets are absolutely amazing and an integral part of the entire bed. Do I sound like a happy customer? Next purchase will be the pillow!

After having slept on the mattress for about a month I want to start out by saying my husband and I are happy with the no motion transfer and overall comfort of the mattress!!! However, we have our doubts with longevity of the mattress. First, my husband and I are both under 200 pounds each and have placed the mattress on a solid base. The warranty states no body impressions, however we are concerned that the foam with break down over time and depth of compression and bounce back will deteriorate. Through my research thus far, no where does Purple offer information on density (numbers) of the foam. The depth of the mattress is considerable smaller compared to other mattress. Before purchasing Purple we considered King Koil (20 year warrenty) and White Dove Oxygen Atmosphere Gel Memory Foam (10 year warranty). Both of these mattresses gave detailed data of the mattress construction; including foam density numbers. However these mattress were upwards of $4,000. Also, the corners of the mattress have not created an edge/point. They have remained slightly curved in and the dimensions of the King is off by a few inches. I hope Purple can give us some numbers and security on the overall longevity of the mattress!! If not, we may be requesting our money back at the end of our free trial.

I used to wake up to shoulder pain and a numb arm on my old mattresses. As a regular side sleeper, I was hoping this bed would cradle and support me while relieving pressure. I was skeptical, but man I'm finally able to sleep on my side all night and wake up with no pain or numbness. Also as a semi-regular stomach/back sleeper, I was hoping this mattress would also be firm enough to support but not cause pain. I'm able to sleep in any position now with just the right amount of cradle. Won't be going back to a non-Purple mattress! Weight: 150lb

We puchased our first purple mattress a few years ago for our master bedroom.  My husband had been having terrible back pain, unable to do daily tasks, and to the point of seeing a doctor.(which my husband avoids drs at all costs) This compounded with not being able to sleep. ​When we switched to the purple mattress,  it was an immediate change for him. He slept through the night and no longer was having back pain. 3 years later,  he litterally has no issues with his back. At first I was skeptical as I had been a pillowtop mattress girl. The first few weeks were an adjustment for me. I began to wake up with discomfort, but in reality,  as I look back, it was my body readjusting to the correct posture.  After a few weeks, I also never slept so good.  I will not sleep on anything else now, Im spoiled. I dread vacations as I hate sleeping on any other mattress now except our purple. I litterally look forward to getting home and having a good nights sleep again. This latest purchase,  which is our 2nd purple mattress, is for our new RV. After returning from our last family vacation, both of our backs were hurting. Within a few days of being home and sleeping on our bed, my back went back to normal from being hunched over and hurting to even move. We discussed getting an RV and putting a purple mattress in it for future trips. So thats what we did! I look forward to our next vacation and know I will actually get a good nights sleep and not come home with a jacked up back. I have recommended the purple matress to my sister, who has also purchased 2 and loves them. I would Seriously recommend this mattress to everyone. As skeptical as I was in the beginning when my husband ordered our first purple ( Which he now reminds and pokes fun at me for)  I am a loyal purple customer for life!
