I was skeptical at first making this investment. I bought a mattress, two of the hybrid pillows, and a seat cushion for my wheelchair that I am temporary having to use. They are all worth the investment that you won't be disappointed in making. They have a 100 night test, well I won't be returning any of it. 5 Stars easy.

My husband and I both think it is not comfortable enough to firm and not very soft. I've also had several family members tell me the same thing when they laid on the bed. It's not what I thought it would be. I think the return policy might be great but I'm still waiting on confirmation to return the mattress.

I have had the Purple (the original) mattress, in a fullsize, now for about a month. I am 5' 11" and usually weigh between 180-185 lbs. So far this mattress is perfect for me. I vacillate between sleeping on my back and sleeping on my side and this mattress handles both perfectly. I've even, on occasion, slept on my stomach which I rarely do due to back problems, but this mattress seems to have the right amount of give to allow for that. The best thing of all, for me, is that the mattress really does stay relatively cool compared to others I've slept on. Up to this point, the Purple mattress has me still looking forward to sleeping on it. Love it.

I have been watching commercials for this mattress for at least 4 years now and dreaming of waking up not feeling like I was hit by a mack truck. A few weeks ago we finally decided to get The Purple Mattress, and guys--it is SOoooo worth it!!! My back no longer hurts at all!! For the first time in years and after 2 kids, my back doesn't hurt.

I am having a lot of trouble getting used to this mattres. All the reviews are saying that i am supposed to have all my back pain gone and sleep like a baby. I am not even close to have less back pain. If anything...i am worst than when i had my old firm mattres. I am close to return this mattres soon.

We bought our first purple mattress in 2017. It was very comfortable and we loved it. However, by 2020, the mattress was sagging. We reviewed the warranty, we were still covered, and so we received a new mattress from Purple. The mattress is extremely firm, it still smells awful from off-gassing after a month or more, and it keeps sliding off of the base we purchased from Purple because it is very light. Oh, we had to get a new base replacement as well because the previous base broke. I wish that we hadn't gotten the new one! The previous mattress, even with its sags and lumps, was much more comfortable and didn't stink. I wish we had invested in a different company in the first place. The bright side is their customer service is great, and handled our mattress replacement quickly and cordially.

With some trepidation at buying a mattress sight-unseen, I pulled the trigger. There were enough reviews I saw were that gave me enough confidence in something new. I figured why not, all the other mattresses I have tried have helped me little. I've had back pain all my life directly related to sleeping so I was keen for a solution. I've never found relief with memory foam and the cost and peer reviews of the sleep number kept me away from it. Here's my take on it. Most important, I sleep great. My back pain which is traditionally around a 3 or 4 (out of 10) has consistently been reduced to a 1 and sometimes 0. This is a complete success by itself, if you ask me. But there are other things to note. My take on the firmness of the mattress is that it runs on the higher end of the spectrum perhaps a 7 or 8 out of 10. This is perfectly compensated by the fact that the gel matrix lets my hip and shoulder sink at just the right spots. The mattress sleeps cooler than you're used to. Having ordered this in the winter, I noticed right away the bed is cooler upon entering and it takes a lot longer for it to warm up. I sleep hot and so this I consider a benefit. However I sleep with more blankets on me at first and kick them off later. I'm expecting this to be great during the summer. I got the mattress frame too. I'm glad I did. It sits the bed at the normal height as other beds, making the transition to it feel seamless. As a bonus, I can store things and clean under my bed. I am storing stuff under the bed in large (14"-16" tall) plastic totes. I think it's great. Like having drawers under the bed. In the end, I'm very satisfied with my Purple mattress. In fact I've been telling all my friends. They send you these little samples of the gel matrix to show off and I have done plenty of that. It's about time the mattress was reinvented. The old ones just weren't working for me.

This bed has been the bane of my existence since the first night we got it. My boyfriend sleeps like an angel while I toss and TRY to turn (the softness makes turning over hard to do). I wake up with neck, shoulder, and back pain every morning, and it was worse when using the purple harmony pillow. I'm just suffering through it until we can send it back! I'm a stomach and side sleeper and I've never had a mattress cause me so many problems. I can hardly wait to sleep on our 20 year old Serta, thank the sleep gods we didn't toss it!

I bought a queen-size Purple mattress a little over a year ago. I had struggled for some time with back pain that I finally realized was being caused by a poor mattress. It didn't take long for my pain to go away after making the switch. So when I recently got a new king bed, I immediately knew what new mattress I had to have - the Purple king. And it's every bit as good as the queen I traded up from, just roomier! I can't really see myself using any other brand of mattress at this point.

So far so good, 30 days great sleep, helps my wife and I with our back, neck, hip and leg pains.For us there was no adjustment time for the mattress. No movement transfer to other side,we are sleeping better, no moving around to get the right sleeping spot, we fall asleep right away, we wake up feeling well rested. There are no signs of sagging or lumps & bumps.good quality and made in the GOOD OLD GREAT UNITED STATES of AMERICA is AAA+ ... The Best products are USA made, Have 70 more nights to go, shouldn't be any changes or problems,we are glad we made this mattress choice, thank you for an excellent product at a fair and reasonable price that is affordable.
