I would highly recommend this mattress. On my first night I felt the difference. I used to have back pain from my old mattress so I went ahead and bought the purple mattress. My back pain went away. I love my mattress and so glad I decided to get. The purple sheets are so soft and breathable. I used to get hot and sweaty in my sleep but now I feel so comfortable and never wake up feeling hot or sweaty. I would highly recommend buying the purple mattress and sheets!

I have the original, it was strange having this squishy foam mattress at first. However after several weeks of sleeping on it, I'm in love. Once laid out on the mattress it really does cradle your body. It hard to explain, but it does support you well. It smelled for the first few days. The mattress is amazing, I can't wait to make money someday and get another. I haven't tried any other bed in a box though fyi.... The sheets are killer too! Buy the sheets if nothing else..

This bed is so comfortable and I look forward to climbing in every night. We got the sheets and pillows too and I think that's really enhanced the experience. We purchased a queen Purple mattress and it gives me both the soft and firmness I need not to be sore in the morning. The pillows are always cool and the sheets are lile a buttery, t-shirt material. We are pleased with the Purple and I'll be sad to go to hotels now that my bed is finally better than theirs will ever be.

We are so disappointed in our Purple Mattress. We bought it 9/18/2017. The first month was rough. We knew there was a break-in period so we stuck with it. It did take time to get used to it, but then it was amazing! For the first time in 10 years I wasn't having pressure points in my hips that burned and hurt and went numb. My husband and I were both sleeping great! I even came back and bought the Purple Pillows 2/3/2019 because we liked Purple so much! Fast forward to 2021 and that all slowly started to change. Now, December 2021 we are ready to sleep on the floor instead of this mattress. We have been waking up for months with sore backs and hips and legs. I'm a side sleeper and my hips have been killing me with the pressure points. The burning and hurting is unbearable. We are not getting any sleep at all and haven't for months. I wish we had never bought this mattress. My old pillow top mattress lasted WAY LONGER than this Purple Mattress did. SO disappointed to spend that much money on something that did not last 4 years!!!

One week after receiving, Mattress and Pillow are great together, good from the first night for me. Sheets are so different that they take some getting used to, top sheet doesn't behave like traditional sheets, but they are comfortable. Sleep does seem cooler with Purple, anxious to see how things go as it gets warmer this summer.

I've tried to give the purple mattress a a chance, but I continue to wake up in the middle of the night and have difficulty falling asleep. I feel like I feel like I'm sleeping on rubber. Unfortunately I think I'll need to return it since it does not look like things are going to improve. Very disappointed

The first week was, wow this is nice. The the second week starts, both my wife and I start waking up with pain on our back. The the third week feels like the support went away! We are discussing the return option, it's just not as good as it first feel

A friend turned me on to the travel cushion, which led to the pillow, which led me to a queen at home and a full in my Tiny House Murphy bed. You will not get me on another mattress. With back and neck issues and a fibromyalgia diagnosis I am one happy camper and no longer the Princess and the pea!! Buy one, but two!! You won't regret it. (Two original purple mattresses)

I researched what mattress would be best for my bad back and neck and after months of debating with myself, I decided to try the Purple. I was intrigued by how this mattress was different from the rest. The first three nights I barely slept. The forth night I slept like a baby and every night since. My wife didn't want a new mattress and loved the divet on her side of the bed. After we set it up and laid on it and all that night before falling asleep, all she could do was criticize it. After the second night of sleeping on it, she fell in love with it and prefers it over the divet she so ardently tried to keep. #PurpleForLife

My husband and I both love this bed! When you first lay down on it, it does seem a bit firm...it doesn't have that "Ahhhh" sink in feeling like most mattresses, but we have had absolutely NO back pain since we got it. I am currently 6mo. pregnant and sleeping soundly through the night. It's even supportive enough that I can still get away with sleeping on my stomach. My husband used to wake up soaked in sweat with our old mattress, and hasn't had that happen once with the Purple mattress. We also got the pillows, which we like...but don't love quite as much as the mattress. They are very heavy, and smaller than the king size pillows we were used to. They are incredibly comfortable though.
