My 10 year old is the lucky recipient of the Purple mattress and pillow. She has spent two nights on them so far and she says she has never been more comfortable in her bed. I am glad for that because I hope she has this mattress for many years to come.

The mattress is pretty good. I have a bad back, I've had three surgeries, The last one they were going to fuse four vertebrae ended up only doing two as the other two pretty much fused their selves. The purple mattress has been the best for me so far. I give this review only three stars because I ordered sheets and it has been 10 weeks and I still haven't gotten them but my credit card has been charged. they never get ahold of me to update me about my order. so be wear if you want the sheets it's gonna take a long time! this should never take this long to get my order! And they need to let you know what is happening, after all they already have your money!

When I first sat on the mattress I thought what have I done. It didn't feel thick enough. I dreaded going to bed that night. And it was not a good night sleep. I felt like it was too hard. The sheets are like sleeping in a cloud, though, absolutely wonderful. I had about a week where I really questioned my purchase. And then slowly I noticed I was sleeping better. I had had very bad back issues from my previous bed. Pretty much ruined my back. And then I noticed that I was not waking up with a backache as bad. I'm now about 3 weeks or so in to this bed. And I absolutely love it. It feels soft now and I am sleeping through the night. I would definitely recommend this bed. My only issue is I wish I would have bought a thicker mattress. That being said, I still have very few complaints about this one.

I bought this mattress last year and it's way too soft which ended up giving me lower back pain and numbness each morning until it developed into sciatica. I was in pain for a whole month. The only new thing in my life was this mattress. DO NOT BUY THIS MATTRESS. I'm 30 and never had any back issues my entire life.

We have only had our mattress now for 4 weeks, but it's been good to us so far! The first 2 weeks we both woke up with soreness, but I believe it is from the adjustment of a 10 year old mattress we had prior. I am currently pregnant and was in desperate need of a better mattress! So far this has proven to be great, there is no sinking, we don't feel each other when we wake up and get out of bed, I don't know about the "cooling" effect but it is still summer so I can't comment on that. The only thing that disappointed me was that it sits much lower than our last mattress. We have a built in box spring in our bed frame, and I wasn't prepared for the Purple to sit so low in it, but the comfort makes up for it and so far we are pleased.

The mattress came in a week or so, and was easy to unpack by myself. I bought a twin XL. So far, the mattress is sturdy, yet comfortable. Some reviewers say that the mattress isn't comfortable for side sleepers, but I have to disagree. I sleep very well!

We have gone through so many "-pedic" mattresses searching for one that gave a comfortable night's rest. Tempurpedic felt good, but was too hot for comfort. Nearing desperation, we overcame our initial concern about the rather odd commercials about a purple mattress and took a chance on one. So glad we did. It really works, providing the support we need and the coolness we prefer. This may be the final choice we have sought.

So here is a preliminary review right before my first night of rest on the Purple. I will be posting more reviews in the future... Upon un-boxing the mattress, I immediately noticed how thin it was. The first impression was that it should be much thicker like most mattresses. But as soon as my girlfriend and I laid on it, we understood why the Purple was constructed like that. It seriously has amazing balance for being so thin. Now when we tested it out, our initial reaction was exactly the same. We felt that it was really firm as we tried different sleeping positions. But we really liked the way it felt. Although at first it was firm, the patented materials really shined because we could feel all of our key body areas and pressure points being completely supported. It was very interesting because we've never felt anything like it. So afterwards, we began to completely rearrange our room whilst lounging and taking breaks; laying on the Purple and relaxing. Thought the day we laid on it a few more times and talked about things etc. Later in the evening we ran some errands, ate a nice dinner and returned home. At this point, we tried it out again but this time we applied our bedding; sheets, mattress cover, blankets etc. We really felt so comfortable and cozy on there. Now we did think it was a little on the firm side throughout the day, but once all of our bedding and pillows were there, it felt so great that the firmness wasn't even a thought anymore. It just felt "right." Again, a perfect balance. Not too soft, and not too firm. I believe the body just has to adjust to the combination of materials that are present within the mattress. So the truth so far is that one must try it out first and attempt to leave behind any initial qualms or concerns at first. The more you lay on it, the more the body will adjust. I had a certai opinion of it at the beginning of the day, but now, its indescribable. We are totally loving the mattress and my girlfriend just passed out. She usually is awake at this hour but for some reason, she's off to dream land somewhat earlier than usual. So it seems as if this is working out! I'm loving it so far and I am excited to go to sleep in a few moments. It was interesting having all these mixed opinions, then throughout the day/night developing an entirely new opinion. Quite frankly, I've never been so excited to sleep in my life. So for now, I'm headed to that Purple and sleeping the night away. It's so comfortable and I am really glad we made the choice to purchase it. So, there's pretty much my first review. Let's hope the coming weeks and months are positive with the Purple!

I have to say, I have tried a few different beds over the years and sofar this one wins! Being a Disabled Vet I have a lot of trouble sleeping and some serious back pain. The very first night we got this I eas able to sleep through the night and woke up able to put my shoes on. Best part is, this mattress sleeps COLD! Especially with the Purple sheets(which are also awesome). This mattress is firm yet soft has all the support needed without being rockhard. Overall both m3 and my wife feel more rested and have less back pain!

I've had my purple for about a month. The first few nights were not as I expected, I thought I would sleep better than on my old mattress. I didn't have any change in sleep until about 3-5 days later. I'm more comfortable now snd don't sweat as before on a memory foam. I may exercise my 100 day return to get the purple 2, I have the original purple. My wife wants s stiffer edge. I'm fine the way it is, great product and easy set up. I recommend this mattress.
