I am 5'2", 140 lbs. I have the majority weight on my waist. Bought a size medium. The waist is 16" which is one inch wilder than a normal medium skort and this made it comfortable to wear. The length is 13.25" which is a bit short. The material isn't thick and doesn't look like a swim suit. Recommended.

This is very short. I should have paid more attention to the photos, but I buy the Sams skorts every year. I'm almost 40, and would not leave the house in this. More of a teen skort. I'm a size small/medium, but bought the medium in the skorts, and the back pleats did not lie flat over the bottom either.
