I've used TurboTax for years, basically ever since I became an adult. It makes taxes easy and very manageable. Over the years they have added more support for cryptocurrencies which has been a huge help in reporting my taxes. My only complaint would be figuring out the differences / nuances of being in the military when it comes to state tax reporting with my spouse. Thankfully they have many detailed forums / help topics for this.

paid over $100 to have it mismatch data from my w2 and get my state return rejected. I use this to streamline my taxes, not pay so i can do them twice and make sure turbotax got the right answer. Thanks a lot for making me do them twice. this will be the last year i ever use turbotax and i'm going to provide a tax filing service free of charge to anyone i meet that says they use turbo tax.

TurboTax makes things easy, however, it was confusing understanding my actual return. The federal tax seems to be what is presented more than the comprehensive total of federal and state but on occasion it presents the total of both. This did not give me confidence in my filing and I was not clear if I was receiving the full amount of my return or less. For ease of use, I give this 5 stars, but for confusion I take away 1 star.

I found this new version more challenging to navigate. I have been using Turbo Tax for years and this year I did not find it user friendly. I miss the on going updates of my refund status or what I will owe. I had to consult twice with an advisor for simple questions which I never had to do before mostly regarding updates on my progress with filing. The advisors were very helpful.

Thank you... once again. The only thing I have a concern with is that I wish that TurboTax would allow me to keep using this Mozilla Firefox browser version long-term, I've used it every year that I have used TurboTax and this year it was slower than ever before. It is so unfortunate. I do not like change and I am a bit of a neo-luddite and tech laggard.

Went smoothly. The only gripe I had was at the end it asked me to pay $40 for a processing fee in addition to the $89 I already paid to have" the cost of this service to be deducted from my return." I declined and paid with credit card. To me that was a rip off.

It's a simple Plug & Play with any tax related documents you receive. Gone are the days of me paying someone else to do the mundane task of reading numbers in boxes and printing them out on the screen! It's also really convenient that I can pay off any bills I accrued with the same money from the expected returns.

I hate that I feel this way but taxes are such a scary thing for me, I am a rule girl and I get so worried that I may have missed something. Turbo Tax takes me through step by step making suggestions and highlighting possible issues that may apply to me. I sill have elevated blood pressure going through the process but I have used Turbo tax for years and feel as comfortable as I think I am able to be when "Filing Taxes" ! I do trust that I am doing it right with the guidance of Turbo Tax. I don't like the upselling and extra fees, so make sure you are reading carefully so you don't pay for something you don't need.

Long time user. It seems slightly more complicated than earlier years but then so is my tax situation. Can be very useful in combination with Coinledger, just follow the directions closely (sometimes the screenshots aren't exactly the same but if I can, you can). It isn't necessarily cheap but again it is helpful and there are multiple payment options.

It's got harder to complete. I've used Turbo since 2007. Maybe due to Fed requirements. But I found that I was put into JustAnswer without knowing it first for example. I also almost missed fileing the forms. I had a non tax question and the only place to go caused the JustAnswer. I ended up paying the Fed from my bank account instead of from my Credit Card that I used for the State.
